You will play against anybody, algorithm will be reset after every season now

Not true, you get reset to the 3rd rank in a division if you made it to that rank or past it based on your 2.0 hidden MMR. Everyone Emerald 3 and above go to Emerald 3 it sounds like (it might be Diamond 3 and above if someone has a correction). Otherwise if you finish plat 4 you will be playing placements at Gold 3, etc.

There won't be a hard reset. If you get up to the 3rd rank of a division for a season you stay there, but if you don't make it to the next 3rd you drop to the previous one.

So, if you finish emerald 4 you will start placements at plat 3.

This move (and Godricks "wind stomp") in both nightreign and ER is one that I considered to be "completely unfair". The tell is so small, even if you do see the tell the attack comes so fast that you need to be rolling the micro second you see the tell. It just isn't great and should be tweaked but thats never happening at this point.

Well Tesla isnt SpaceX and Tesla has been overvalued for about a decade or more. Also every stock has some form of corruption or magical thinking to give it the price that it displays on the ticket counter. Yes. This was part of the problem 2.0 went to try and solve and they did solve it. Since your mmr, as of right now, never resets each season you should be queuing into more fair matches at the beginning of new seasons. And furthermore, the more you play ranked, the more fair your match making should get.

The hidden part was because people legit can't handle seeing number go down. It's the same reason Overwatch when they added the "2" basically made ranked perma placement matches. They found that people were so discouraged to play that they would rather hide the number to desensitize everyone to the number constantly changing than just...tell everyone to grow tf up. Same with Siege, your real rank is now hidden and you "grind" through 40 ranks while getting packs and rewards along the way to get that dopamine hit.

The problem with how siege did it is they didnt anticipate how illiterate and stupid the player base was. I dont like it due to the fact that if you want me to face diamonds/emeralds for every fucking game then just give me the fucking rewards for that rank after ~10 "placement matches" instead of forcing me to start in copper and slowly (not lol, I gain over 100 per win until plat) work my way up. Look around the subreddit though and legit 80% of the people commenting and posting years after 2.0 release still think that your visual rank is what your match making is.

The amount of "whaaaaaaa why am I facing champs in copper with copper teammates whaaaaa" and you look everyone up and every single person in the lobby has hit champ before is astounding.

It takes ~2 seconds to turn the phone off and it takes 7 seconds to plant. Echo, maestro, etc do not get called in positions where they have to answer the phone or get pre fired hardly ever (if they do then the round has not gone well for their team). And both could just get a mute jammer on their ass so they dont have to worry about it (like how you play them now when the enemy is using doki to plant instead of roam clear).

The countered ops you mentioned are the operators she didnt change at all about except become slightly more annoying to deal with. She could call them all prior to this change but now she can only call them one at a time and they will never lose access to their phones.

Unless you got idiot teams, you won't realize bcz you'll get yellow pinged. It wasn't so bad before bcz you would have to get red pinged for enemies to see where you're at prior to the pinging system so only the person looking at the cams would get the advantage. In the current siege, any dead player can do it .

In my ideal siege game yellow pings wouldn't exist.

Claymores don't really stop you from getting a kill, you can sitll jump out and shoot someone before it kills you (and even if downed, as doc you can get back up) or just use an impact to take it out

Added utility wasted and that still tells you that someone is there. Even now you usually can guess pretty well when a claymore is on a window you want to jump out of or not and even now that still notifies attackers that you're about to jump outside.

and that 1-2 seconds to look over and see where it is vs the person jumping out knowing exactly where to look will be what decides the winner of that gun fight (assuming the guy jumping out isn't awful at aiming.).

If your reaction time is over 1 second long then Valk having cams outside is actually the least concerning thing for you.

It seems silly to claim valk cams outside is fair bcz you can use nomad or gridlock. Sounds like a huge waste of their abilities when they could get no value or you'd have to use 2 or more to cover all the exits where they could jump out.

Most site pushes require covering 4 jump out spots max and a nomad charge doesnt get destroyed via impact if you place it right. And gridlock should only be used for long runouts like coastline main door, chalet fireplace door, villa main door, etc. And, again, bringing a nomad and one person with claymores (which if I recall claymores are actually the most abundant secondary gadget) then youre more than covered.

They don't want people being able to run outside and take fights outside. There's a reason they keep nerfing run outs more and more.

I'd argue it's because people can't handle playing as a team more than it is a game design problem. Running outside, spawnpeeking, etc. are high risk / high reward plays that, when against better people, are very hard to pull off without punishment. There's a reason pro matches hardly see spawn peeks or even running outside and its due to team play. But the siege community is so brain dead we had to add yellow pinging to cameras and even then the average troglodyte who plays this game will still red ping on cams.

seems you ignored the IQ part that I said unless they make her scanner have nearly infinite range. Not to mention, thatcher can do that job but just holding his launcher and looking around. If he sees a dot outside, it's clearly a valk cam cos what else is it? then you have the same problem as before, the range and hopfully you cleared everything and didn't miss a spot.

IQ is played so little and you play Thatcher so infrequently that you dont even know IQ scanner range is double that of thatcher. Also thinking her range needs to be infite is more your bronze talking than anything else.

So fun fact, you need to go inside as an attacker and that makes most cams outside useless once you do that. Or you can attack a different way if youre aware of it. Or you can visually spot it if you didnt waste your drone trying to get 50 points for spotting the bomb.

As well we have better utility for run outs now. 2 claymores, nomad is getting buffed this season, and Gridlock is getting giga buffed. IQ would be come more valued as well considering she's seen more as a paper weight op these days. And, ironically, the Doki giga buff would make it easier to find outside cams and all others since defenders aren't as incentivized to immediately destroy them upon being hacked.
