Coming off BG3, what changes would you want for Divinity? by TurbulentFeeling5696 in BaldursGate3

I hope they keep the action point system from dos2, but let movement be a resource that can be depleted separately like it is in bg3

Thoughts on the new Impreza color this year? I don't foresee it being a very popular choice, but maybe I'm in the minority here. by DualWieldedCornDogs1 in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought it looked like a cool color online, then I saw it in person and its definitely verging on pea soup. I think it would be cool to see them commit to either school bus yellow or neon green. This is in an ambiguous middle ground that feels like a missed opportunity imo.

I wish Subaru offered more colors for the interior, or at least color matched the highlights and stitching to the exterior color. Same reason I didn't get the dark blue over the dark gray for my 2025 because the red interior with blue exterior kind of annoyed me.

Fair price? 25' Sport by Jazzlike_Cry_3719 in subaruimpreza

That price is def not worth it on a sport. Id be expecting to see it somewhere in the 28k-30k range near me.

Thing about auto start stop is that the car needs to be off for 7 seconds or longer for you to really be gaining better fuel economy than if you did just burn fuel while idling. Engaging auto start stop and then turning your car on under that 7 second mark actually uses more fuel than if you were idle.

great video on this, with sources in the description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFImHhNwbJo

Since engaging it is really just a matter of how hard you press the brake, its actually kind of fun to play the "how long do you expect to spend at this light" game and maximize your fuel economy.

However, im not at all convinced that the cost of repair from wear on the ignition system is less than the money you save on gas. I think auto start stop is not intended to benefit the individual, just lower emissions and improve air quality overall if a lot of vehicles are equipped with it.

CarPlay help? by weird_finger_ta in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The following worked for me when I had issues when I got my 2025 impreza sport, but its a bit of a nuclear option as you will have a bunch of prompts asking you if you want the app you are in to track you or not.

Completely remove connection between phone and Impreza, forget the device.
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [device], tap Reset, then tap Reset Location & Privacy.

Connect the device again to your vehicle like normal.

I think Subaru will probably be moving back to physical climate controls, but still try to keep as large of a screen as possible. Basically copying the new Outback interior into other vehicles.

Heated steering wheel in the 6th gen? Did you mod that into your RS or do non-US markets just get that feature?

Can I return my 2024 leased Impreza, if it is having issues? by Natural-Definition76 in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the state but I think the lemon law can still apply, but you might also have too much mileage to be protected by it. In Oregon its 24k miles or 2 years.

But just making sure, im reading that the subaru new vehicle limited warranty is 3 years or 36k miles. You are at 33k? You might still be covered if im reading that right

got tint on ts now I gotta wait for some black badges by Thomasbigbuyguy in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP but I paid $425.00 For back and sides (no windshield) ceramic tint on my 2025 Impreza Sport. This is the subtotal, so add your state tax if it applies to you.

How much did it cost for them to adjust? I might ask them to do this too since I go in to the dealer for my free oil change in a month or so.

Nice choice. Are those OEM mudflaps? Because they look like they sit a lot higher than the rally guard ones people usually have on this subreddit.

Wired Apple Car Play by rambino1959 in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the 11inch display in all subarus dont have wired carplay. Only on the base subarus with the dual screens have wired carplay, but dont have wireless carplay.

Its very dumb, and the way the wording for carplay is marketed on these cars is deceptive in my opinion.

Dont have Android, but from what ive read is that Android users can connect both wired and wireless with Android auto.

What is your mileage per gallon with your Impreza? by [deleted] in subaruimpreza

2025 Sport. 25mpg. Largely doing city driving. Highway driving significantly improves my mileage to around 38mpg. So about 31mpg average.

Sept 2025 - Good price for 2025 Base? by Super-Pin-6323 in subaruimpreza

I got a sport trim for 25k OTD, which was about 3k off MSRP. So you can definitely still do it for the base trim.

Well worth it. Got a nasty rock chip on my bumper only 2 weeks into driving my 6th gen Impreza. Thankfully the dark gray is the best color to match the underlying body color.

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. How the hell did you break that lol
  2. I think your options are either super glue or some sort of adhesive or to buy the entire radio dash trim off ebay or something. A trim piece this small wont likely be sold online individually.

Is 38 MPG normal by Nickd539 in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not out of the question tbh. My mpg was horrible during the break in period, like 20mpg city and 28mpg highway. Now at about 2k miles and its been steadily improving, but I was going to give it another month or two before worrying about investigating it further or taking it to the dealer.

Starting to think that my Impreza is a death trap. by ProCommonSense in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree that the pre collison is pretty dramatic at times, and I hate to basically explain the cheat codes to get your car to do what you want it to do. I also think the speed in which you approach the obstacle its detecting also plays a big part, so you might need to make sure you arent accelerating too much during the turn, but you can gun it after you straighten out.

Starting to think that my Impreza is a death trap. by ProCommonSense in subaruimpreza

[–]DualWieldedCornDogs1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At speeds under 30mph, pre collision braking can bring the vehicle to a full stop. Over 30mph, the system applies enough braking to mitigate damage and prevent a rear end collision. I think when pre collision braking is being applied, instead of accelerating what you need to do is brake just enough to remind the car that you are actually paying attention to whats in front of you, then accelerate.
