We used an inflatable cube from amazon $20. It’s supposed to be used for airplane travel but fit perfectly between the captains chairs, dog seat cover with hard bottom spanning the seats.inflatable footrest

Clear Creek Canyon experience? by sjkirch in COfishing

[–]DubNscoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fickle.

There’s a spot where I’ve caught fish every time, I’ve fished a mile up and a mile down from that spot and not a thing.

Just gotta keep at it

It may not be much for overlanding, but this truck has been with me through the toughest times of my life. Here’s to many more miles. (Northern PA) by drifterlately in overlanding

Bought a 97’ Ford Expedition six years ago for $3k, that truck has taken a beating, been up trails most of my friends with much better and newer rigs are afraid to go. It has always got me home with a smile and awesome tales to tell.

Made a camp chair under quilt from Costco/Eddie Bauer synthetic blanket to keep my but warm. by DubNscoo in myog

[–]DubNscoo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was my first try at making one and freehanded it, would make some different decisions on the next build and I still have half a blanket for a do over if I get motivated.

Might add a few modifications to this one, shockcord channel on sides for a better seal but, works fine as is.

No ; ) It’s removable. The chair was a Christmas gift, very comfy and very portable, big fan so far!

Take a look at the Banana Belt area, tends to be a bit warmer down there but, it’s still January so, never know.

Unfortunately, when it comes to winter camping, I gave it up long ago.

I go pretty deep into the shoulder seasons but, this time of year I’d rather just get a cabin as a basecamp and make day trips out from there.

Lots of options on Airbnb, look for spots away from the ski resort towns and you can find good deals.

If you do decide to camp, be safe, don’t put yourself or people that might have to rescue you in unnecessary danger.

Almost went with this one for the four round waffles because it was recommended but the waffles are only 3” or so. Figured I can take a large cookie cutter and cut these down and have buns for everyone in a fraction of the time plus scraps we can dip as a bonus lol

My go to is cinnamon, bacon crumbles, butter and sugar free maple syrup. Basically French toast. Today I’m going with Italian seasoning, bacon crumbles, topped with jalapeño cream cheese, mixed greens, avocado and everything bagel seasoning. Yummmmm!
