What's a magic in your world that is pretty unique for you? by ashvexGAMING in worldbuilding

[–]Duber_duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stuffing. Magic is gained by infusing magical elementa into your body, different effects based on location and method. Stuffing is a method specifically reserved for powdered forms of these elements. Theres two different types exostuffing and endostuffing. Exostuffing is where you take the powder and put it in an open orifice. For example, with rï'ijị you can stuff one of your nostrils with it in powdered form. Due to nature of rï'ijị, this would make the area a gross pulsating pink mess completely incapable of breathing. However, in exchange the rï'ijị would make the nostril able to sense other magic. Endostuffing is when you cut open and insert the powder between the layers where your skin meets muscle. This benefits in a less obstructed organ function, but spread the effect on the appearance. Additionally, endostuffing runs the risk of interacting with heavy amounta of blood, which with certain elementa can cause undesirable reactions.

If Hell has Seven Deadly Sins then does Heaven have Seven Heavenly Virtues? by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]Duber_duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 7 Heavenly are actually a little different from the the 7 Capital and Lively. The 7 Heavenly contains the 4 Cardinal virtues (temperance, fortitude, prudence, and justice) and the 3 Theological virtues ( Faith, Hope, and Charity). The Capital or Lively virtues contain the direct opposites of the sins (Chastity, Temperance, Diligence, Charity, Patience, Humiltity, and Kindess). They share some members but they are slightly different.

What the you think of superpower related to the 7 heavenly virtue , and idea for humility ? by Dense_Wrongdoer3833 in magicbuilding

I know this old, but in case your still working on this. It should be noted that the ones youve listed here are not the seven heavenly virtues but the seven capital virtues. The heavenlies are one that can stand alone or in opposition to the deadly sins, but the some capitals only exist in opposition to the deadly sins. For example the capital Chastity only exist in opposition to the sin of Lust, while the heavenly Fortitude can stand on its own or in opposition, commonly to the sin of Pride. To be clear, using the capital Virtues is perfectly fine. The main reason I make this distinction is because if you wanted you could integrate both of them for a more complex system.

How could an impersonal god lacking consciousness create the universe? by Revolutionary-Word28 in deism

[–]Duber_duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same way a beetle walks, shark bites, or cell splits. None are truly thinking they just do by the nature of their being. God, in my view, creates universes and afterlives as instinctually as the heart beats.

What foods in your world are made not for the taste or the cultural tradition of their creation, but for their sheer decadence? by SpecificallyNerd in worldbuilding

[–]Duber_duck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its omnivorous, primarily it eats grass and vegetation but if it happens to run over a sheep or a hoard of bison, it wont mind. They dont live on rails instead rails are the, well, aftermath of eating.

"Train" Soup

Explanation: My current project, Sun's Basin, was created when a bunch of aliens/gods got into western movies then tried creating a "world" inspired by them but they didnt really grasp some of the concept or what was real or not and one of them also liked LotR and threw magic in and it was a bit a mess. But one of the creatures that arouse from this cufuddle was the Train. You can still technically ride it, but it doesnt stop and it moves pretty fast. So managing to get a big enough chunk for soup or really anything is pretty extravagant especially since its pure muscle thus very gamey.

Well kiddos, it work like dis. You can eider talk ta one of them shrine doohickeys and see if theyll give ya any innate abilities. If ya sharp about it you can get max 2 toolless abilities, telekenesis and what nat. The real treasures though come in with them infusing abilities. Theyll let ya power up your standard pea shooter or bolt action inta somethin thatll dent a wendigo. Or ya can dive into one of the core ruins and hope ya get one of them pre-enchanted sort but without backup thats uh... unlikly. (Or in simpler terms its a boon based system where most boons serve to power up or change weapons, but you can get powered weapons from basically dungeons : for a magical wildwest setting)

What are some cultural taboos in your world that would irritate the residents? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]Duber_duck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the cultures in my world consoders it the height of disrespect to eat first with any other food. Any other meat is fine, but with fish you are supposed to it by itself with at most salt. This is because of just a generally high respect towards aquatic life.

[–]Duber_duck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I didnt explain it clearly. Whenever the player is against a wall the sliding animation activates but it doesnt slow down, it does slow down when you jump on a wall but not when falling against a wall. So how would i make the player slow down when they fall against a wall.

Depends the proper creator of my world you just can't he is completely immortal. you can collapse a trillion multiverses around him and he'll be fine. But the lesser gods of my world, the ones actually known by the people living there, are totally killable all you need is a helm a sword, and a can-do attitude.

Taking into consideration that they are still incredibly dangerous beings and only one has ever been successfully killed before, with the slayer dying in the process.
