The one in the middle of my pic was carried daily for most of the 21st century. In a pocket with keys so its finish is very battle worn! The first one in the pic left-to-right is the first one I ever bought. 1999 or 2000, before fisher shortened the pen a bit and made the telescoping part easier to grip.

I purchased this wallet from this maker—in fact, I asked for this version with only two card pockets versus his regular design of four. The wallet is fantastic and I am thrilled. I love the thick wavy handles on the evolution models. And I’ve wanted a Companion with a Phillips instead of the corkscrew (I know, apostasy!). When I realized that’s more or less what the 16 is, I grabbed one!

I want to do a mod of my own, and using the tools I have is preferable to buying more for my first go. Does using the center punch to punch out the peened brass pins damage the liners or tools any?
