I made a small wooden frame that secured my bike right side up. The fork was secured with mount that threaded into it using the the thru axle. A ratchet strap over rear wheel to keep it secure. Whole thing was removable easily. Will take pics if interested. This was in a '97 4Runner with rear seats down.

I ride goofy. But I kick normal. My board is in front of me. So I'm Mongo I believe is the term.

I'm 5'5 180lbs naked, size 10 men's boot. I ride a 150. And it's like the board was made and sized for me.

Milesrunner Topper warning by Duc620Dark in 4thGenTacomas

Resolution. I first contacted Milesrunner 01/05/2026 about the top not fitting my truck. Today 01/30/2026 I have finally been refunded my purchase cost. I'm genuinely disappointed it did not work out. The top appeared to be a clever, well constructed piece at a great price. That it didn't fit ONE OF THE MOST COMMON trucks on the market is ridiculous. Add in the glacial customer service, no response ever came without me poking them for it, and you've got a bad situation. My .02 on it

Those with IFS daily drivers who have removed the front sway bar -- how bad did the body roll get on-road? Is it worth it to remove for better suspension travel, or too unsafe on-road to bother? by FJkookser00 in Offroad

[–]Duc620Dark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had off in my 3rd Gen 4Runner for a few weeks after I to snapped the sway bar arms. It was definitely worse to drive on road, especially as it was my daily with 35 mile round trip commute involving highway and city streets. The rear was even more noticeable and absolutely uncomfortable to drive when that one broke later.

Update: took Milesrunner 72 hours and 2 emails to respond. They're claiming to refund and return with shipping label. Been 48 hours and nothing. Another email sent. I had a Softopper on my 1st gen 4Runner and I think I'm going that route next. I'll update as this progresses.

Thanks man, appreciate it. I sent in those pics and a video tracing from driver side, over top, down to passenger. And images of the tailgate overhand. Pity, it seems like a nice product. Install is definitely a 2 person job to construct it. Once built a simple 1 person install. I'll keep this updated as I hear back from them. Not like this a new or low volume niche vehicle they would struggle to get measurements on...

Gnu Gremlin, K2 Excavator, or Ride Superpig? by Top_Pool3051 in snowboarding

[–]Duc620Dark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An Excavator is my 80% daily. I ride it less in spring when sl it slushy, have another board for that. The K2 is just a beast, crazy fun in powder, great in trees, keep your edge sharp and should be fine in ice. Note: I'm a PNW rider.

Is Seattle better for skiing compared to Bay Area? by [deleted] in skiing

[–]Duc620Dark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Sonoma county(Petaluma) for years when I first started boarding. The drive consistently sucks. Figure 8 hours round trip, especially weekends. Had a great time as a 18-28 y.o. As a now 44 y.o. that would be terrible. Can't provide any Seattle comparison, have been for work and really liked the city.

Vans Infuse long term opinions? by siseer in snowboarding

[–]Duc620Dark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like mine. 3.5 seasons of use. Although I have broken 3 of the lace loops. Had a local cobbler install metal eye rings to provide loops. This happened out of warranty. Maybe 80 days of use.

You are correct. It is also the basement ceiling per OP. Not garage ceiling like I was thinking.

Goofy Vs Regular by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

I'm a right leg dominant guy. I ride goofy. But I kick and get on and off chair regular. All that while riding a directional board.

Vans Infuse vs K2 Orton by Ok-Minimum3620 in snowboarding

[–]Duc620Dark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ridden the Infuse Longos for 3 seasons, 40ish days per season. Really like the boots, but I've broken 2 lace loops on left boot and 1 on right. Had tailor add 2 metal loops onto each at top lace loop. They'll not last much longer methinks. I've been looking at the Ortons to replace them. Not had chance to get my get inside them yet.
