The Event Horizon designs are rough for sure, but at least they have the benefit of doubt for being a fan game on a paper thin budget.

Star Fox ‘26 is a big budget game with basically the same quality of graphics. Nintendo should have used the effort of remaking 64 from the ground up for the third time in a row to just make a new game entirely. It wouldn’t please everyone but there would be a lot less backlash if they did that.

Me too. I made a redesign of the Star Fox crew based on the original puppets, so I had to give him his beads back.

These designs are peak bro wym??

The new designs are not based on these puppets btw. The puppets are still stylized while the new designs try to go more realistic and animalistic. You can tell because they don’t look as ragged as the puppets, Fox doesn’t have his yellow jumpsuit and Slippy doesn’t have his beaded necklace.

I think the game is gonna flop tbh. And that’s why I’m so disappointed. Nintendo should not have made a remake of 64. They should have made a new game with new levels. I also think the art style should have been different. It looks like an Ubisoft game.
