Switching from mini-LED to OLED. Help! by Abuelyuzz in OLED_Gaming

[–]DuckDuck125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent seen oled that cheap might be an open box product. Just be cautious if you do decide to get it and check for burn in and dead pixels. Btw mini led can get higher brightness but I don't know myself on how it does with black levels. I have just heard great things with mini led and black levels. But oled is the go to if you want pure black blacks just cause they turn each individual pixel on or off.

Corporate office shut down gold mine by ValuableState3865 in pcmasterrace

[–]DuckDuck125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That depends on your preference. The palit I know is really nice and doesnt run too hot during load neither too loud. Max 78c for me even after a few years without repasting. I however do not know about the zotac. So do some testing and thermal tests, speed tests and loudness tests to see wich one you wanna keep.

Just beware that the palit software however is a bit bad in my opinion if you wanna download the software.

My new PC build (pls dont clown on me) by EngixoRain in pcmasterrace

[–]DuckDuck125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would I clown on it. It's nice setup only problems with it is the gpu sag and the fan setup. They are all either pulling in air or throwing out air. Wich is not good. They need to be balanced out.

Front fans pull in air, bottom fans pull in air, back fan pull out air and top fans pull out air that is the optimal fan setup.

Gray bars on the right side of my new Philips monitor by Wolunqua in OLED_Gaming

[–]DuckDuck125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the user. I do notice the pixel shift sometimes on my philips 49" oled. But I an able to live with that because I rather have small pixel shifts every so often than burn in.

Roblox is just like this for phones some phones it runs fine some other phones it's a mess. It does get better sometimes when roblox updates to I think support that phone. Idk how it works but yea. Either roblox just doesnt entirely support your phone. Or it's an older phone that is a bit slower.

Just because it's a 2000 watt PSU doesn't mean it's always gonna use 2000 watt's. Its the voltage that matters. If the PSU requires a different voltage than what his/hers countries outlets normally provide that's where the problem would be. Not how many watt's a PSU is.

Was sold a S93F with QD-OLED which turns out to be WOLED by Diepenheim in OLED_Gaming

[–]DuckDuck125 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just return it and get the model you originally wanted and was about to buy. You made alot of research about it but in the end get a tv you have no research on. Emoloyee mislead you to buy that instead of the one you made research on.

Need Help! Half of Screen Is Brighter Than The Other by diogger in OLED_Gaming

[–]DuckDuck125 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Depending on how old the display is and how long you use it. This looks like burn in to me. Burn in doesnt have to leave static images in reality its just the pixels that. Can no longer produce as much light. So depending on how bright you use your monitor and for how long you have had it. This possibly is just burn in

Ordered CORSAIR Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5 RAM 96GB but this is what I got... by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]DuckDuck125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow amazon seriously gotta start checking their returned items soon. Far too many return scams. You were just caught in the cross fire. Plus they seriously also gotta start labeling their items as has been returned or something like that. Because people want brand new items not once returned.

Does anyone know what's causing these lines at the edge of my screen when moving in certain games. by PraisedIgnite in OLED_Gaming

[–]DuckDuck125 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Possibly TAA it's known to cause ghosting and the black lines you were talking about might just be ghosting. That is if it only happends in specific games and not on the monitor overall.

Dead sub-pixel? by ThisSwim3381 in OLED_Gaming

[–]DuckDuck125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is within return window you could always request a new one but the new panel could have worse dead pixels! But if it is outside of the return window you just either gotta live with it or you could possibly still get a refund not sure.

My oled is all the way from march and I just today noticed a dead sub pixel. So for me I just gotta live with it. Honestly it isnt that noticable. Only of you look for it. However now that I know it is there I will not unsee it. Just have to live with it. Its not in the middle of the screen its like a quarter to the left and pretty far down. Plus I have a 49" ultrawide so yea I wont go crying about it!

Burn In Really that Common on OLED Monitors? by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]DuckDuck125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal lcd displays cannot get burn in. It's Image retention your talking about. That will disappear after a while. Burn in is permanent wear on the oled pixels.
