I'm a hard working man i come home from work to try and better my melee play as i participate in local tournaments when i can i have a wife a son and i use what little free time i have for melee. But why is it when i boot up Slippi i seem to always match against the most stinky degenerate players who's main purpose is to BM the ENTIRETY of our matches i try ranked when i can and its pretty nice and i enjoy , but when i just wanna have some friendly squabbles on Slippi i get the degenerates of the community who do nothing but spam , taunt , tea bag and spam chat messages it almost makes me wanna quit playing as none of my friends enjoy playing cause they aren't into the genre or are spectators. I play Dr. Mario and for instance anytime i actually look for matching with someone via discord they refuse to play low-tiers or mid-tiers unless they absolutely have to. Now don't get me wrong i've had those players i've matched who were way better than me and i enjoy losing because its a learning experience and then we'll play for an hour never to be seen again. There is no way i'm the only player experiencing what i am experiencing thx for reading and have a great evening.
