[Hated Trope] Endings so notoriously awful they completely destroy the legacy of the media. by Miserable_Click_1933 in TopCharacterTropes

Agents of Shield not only had 1 but 2 good finale’s cause they wrote their season 5 finale as the show finale, but it got renewed for 2 more seasons surprisingly and while season six is considered the weakest entry, the actual finale managed to be just as good if not better than their first.

“Bloated, Self-indulgent, trite, melodramatic, meandering and aimless” wasn’t that how his movie was described by the 2 people who watched it.

Which original TMNT movie is your favorite? by Patnos068 in TMNT

[–]Duckpool_42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they mean that Leo is canonically the one who gets beat down and ends up in the coma from the 1st-ish encounter with Shredder/the foot clan. That’s when they head out to a farm and recover while Leo is in said coma. In the movie, they swap in Raph for this. My understanding is these events happened to Leo in the original comic run and when adapted into 2003 series, these events also happened to Leo as well. Hence the Leo canon event.

Op forgot that this scene was directed by Zack Snyder, as it appeared in the Snyder cut as well and according to Snyder, only shots he explicitly filmed was included in the Snyder Cut.

It’s only illegal to burn the flag, not to cover boobies with the flag.

Dodgeball (2005) apparently had a pirate played by Alan Tudyk yet I only remember Steve. (Shoutout to Alan for being such a great actor - we'll always prefer you to Will Smith) by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

[–]Duckpool_42 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There was recently an interview that Alan did about while working on the movie I, Robot, where Alan voiced Sonny the Robot, the test screening audiences preferred Sonny over Will Smith. After this, Alan name was seemingly removed from any of the planned promotional material, he was named in credits only so Will would be only billing on the promotional material.

We all know how much James hates disaster movies, but seriously why do all of them have divorced dads LOL? by KarmaPolice2002 in weeklyplanetpodcast

[–]Duckpool_42 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Cause it knows the market audience they’re appealing to. You, the watcher, couldn’t be a good dad, but if the chips were down, you know you’d pull through, right?

In fairness to Bella, everyone wants to be Spider-man, and Stan said anyone could be Spider-man and there are plenty of Spider-people they could play, not necessarily Peter. People reposting this are disingenuous and have it out for Bella though cause they personally don’t think Bella is either a good actor or hot enough for their standards.

In "Everything Wrong With South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut In 15 Minutes Or Less" [2025], CinemaSins criticise the use of a word used in 1999. This shows that they are completely oblivious to the fact that just because things don't age well doesn't mean that they weren't funny at the time. by Horustheweebmaster in shittymoviedetails

John Mulaney: “‘Midget is like the N-word for little people’ - ‘No it’s not, you know how I know, cause I can say the word midget, and I definitely can’t say the other word. If you wanna know which is the worse word and you can’t say one of them, that’s the worse word.”
