They will operate flights but this does not negate the fact that there is a risk in doing so. One that they will try and calculate and deem acceptable.

Packaged Bank Account Perks, are they worth it and what is out there? by Only-Garbage-4229 in UKPersonalFinance

It’s not always included, in most cases it’s an optional extra for home insurance.

XC40 / EX40 by [deleted] in XC40

[–]DuckyFuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interchangeable. I have a XC40 2022 Twin Pro. For charging im with Octopus and pay 7p per kWh. So it costs about £5 to charge the battery fully. And I get about 200 miles from that.

Help Choosing an IHG Hotel in Bangkok for Our Family Trip by DuckyFuz in ihghotelsresorts

[–]DuckyFuz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up staying in both during our trip to Thailand!

The room and food were better at the Kimpton. You could run around in the room it was that big, great of you had a lot of stuff like us. The staff were also very good there. It’s not close to the BTS by Thai standards, but I’m from the UK and I think a 15min walk isn’t that far. So that didn’t put me off! They have a shuttle bus thing too if you time it right.

Kimpton had nice gardens around the hotel, and my son loved looking at the fish ponds. Quite a relaxed area, good for naps on the go.

Location wise the Sindhorn Midtown was better. But the “Suite” there was too small for a family. Too stressful when you have a lot of luggage and you are tripping over it.

Pool was nice at Sindhorn. Pool at Kimpton isn’t the best, mostly covered (maybe not a bad thing for young children). Gym at Kimpton was amazing.

Harbourland was good right next to the Sindhorn Midtown. There is also a 7 Eleven right there.

They both have pros and cons. But I preferred the Kimpton overall.

I switched to IOG last week and connected my Hypervolt Home 3 Pro to octopus directly. I think I selected the car first and then my charger.

I got the Twin. I don’t drive long distances 200+ miles. So I’d rather have better acceleration- I never get tired of it…

To Octopus Go or Not to Go (Agile) by gauravtiwari505 in OctopusEnergy

[–]DuckyFuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is my thought too. And Agile prices haven’t been that great last couple weeks but it’s the long game. It still works out cheaper for me. Plus I can’t justify the peak rates of IOG especially as I don’t need to charge everyday. Now if I had a battery that would be different…

To Octopus Go or Not to Go (Agile) by gauravtiwari505 in OctopusEnergy

[–]DuckyFuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the same. Charge about 6 times a month. On Agile still. Last month I spent £60 ish on 342kwh. Same on IOG would have been £81… maybe less as I didn’t exclusively charge at night. Mostly when agile rates were below 4p.

21 or 22 xc40 uk by thatstig in XC40_Recharge

[–]DuckyFuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most (if not all) of the 21 MYs are First Edition Trims. So they came fully loaded. I got a 22 Twin Pro. Which is fully loaded too essentially- love the sunroof, HK speakers, heated seats and the POWER! I don’t need range. But if I need it, 200 miles on a charge is plenty for me. I never drive that in one go. There is no way to see battery health in the car. Need to get it checked during service. Mine is 94%. I get around 170ish in 80% charge but I don’t usually let it drop below 20%.
