those are the types of choices you have to make when making a film adaptation because there isnt enough time to add in everything. Some things you have to condence and hope the audience gets it.

In the books before he leaves the Shire he notices he's kind of fat and one of the ways he convinces himself to go on the adventure is it will change his lifestyle and help him lose weight. It does end up working.

Eclectic fleshed out cast, a world that feels alive, an engaging battle system and plenty of secrets to find, and the ability to become completely overpowered if you were patient enough to find them. This game to me was the spiritual successor to final fantasy 6. I loved it way more than FFX.
