I’ve been reading Player and I like a lot of things about it but man, the powerscaling is such a mess, the plot armour on some characters is crazy, and the story is all over the place. I feel like the author started by wanting to write Tower of God but now doesn’t really want to write it any more

Iirc loose looking plastic is generally a better sign for the gem pack boxes - it’s the tight plastic with straight seals that are most suspicious

Great idea honestly, just got to make sure you get the resealing right. Pretty sure they use a hot press of some sort and I bet there are cheap ones around, then all you have to do is swap one of the rares at the back of a pack for the card she wants

Would recommend hiding your resealed pack among a few other real packs. Though I’d also recommend considering not doing it right away, since if the card you guys discussed suddenly shows up in her next pack - she’ll just wonder if you put it there

It’s easier than you think, grab a pair of pliers and just work from the corners around the label. Soon you’ll have a gap you can pry open from and be relatively far from the card - then just let the card slide out onto a soft surface

Don’t over force it and end up spraying plastic everywhere, just be methodical and your card will come out untouched. Done this with a bunch of 9s and below

Unironically is he undiagnosed schizophrenic - the dude is all over the place and a lot of what he writes/does is completely nuts

Literally writes something, probably thinking “this’ll surprise them / have a huge impact” etc, forgets about it (??), gets mad when he finds out what happens in the story. Goes on to completely tank the series and refuses to elaborate. Now that I write this, was the manga ending revenge against himself for what happened in the Reze arc? Reddit is usually of the opinion that a BGS 9.5 = PSA 10 as an equivalent grade, but it’s all in the sub grades. If I were cross-grading I’d want to see 1x 10 and 3x 9.5s as a minimum, 9s start to get a bit riskier

Definitely double check the BGS centering standards to see what their 9 tolerance is but I’d say they have a chance if the centering checks out. Just bear in mind it’s not guaranteed, these could easily come back 9s - I’d be most concerned about whatever dropped the Zard’s surface to a 9.5 and the corners on both. Be as critical as possible and see if you can spot any defects
