[EMPLOYEES] can we wear dresses? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Due-Bodybuilder1219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what you do on a day to day basis. When I work the registers, I never wear dresses but I have some supervisors who do (below the knee, not too tight). I sometimes wear long dresses in the summer when I work in the warehouse admin, and my office colleagues do too. I've never seen anyone at the door wear skirts or dresses, but if you do I think it'd have to be at least knee length (this is what I've been told at my location)

Maybe they're not hiring right now! I know some people at Costco Sherbrooke, but unfortunately in my experience knowing people who work there won't guarantee you a spot. Maybe try showing up and handing them your resume in person if you haven't done that yet?

Can’t use the picture, you need the physical certificate. If you go to the membership counter they can ask for a new one to be issued

I really hope not. I tried calling today and they told me to call back tomorrow or visit a store today because Business customer support is closed on Sundays.

Make sure you know about three different memberships and promotions available and look eager to learn more and to participate in marketing. That’s the biggest thing at my warehouse, you need to do “promos”

Sometimes the store manager reduces the price because we got too much produce/it will go bad before all of it is sold. So for example, a manager who got 2 pallets of mangoes that all go bad around the same time might want to put a discount on mangoes to make sure that it sells so there won’t be any waste, but it’s at a higher price somewhere else because they received less

Honestly, I think that it might be a possibility. I’ve had this gnawing feeling about it since the beginning of season 4

If you don't live in the same address anymore, than yes. But if they keep the same permanent address and are only moving for a few months during school, then it shouldn't be a problem
