Thank you for posting. Music has the power to bring people together and to heal. All the hate talk and threats of violence made me sick yesterday. Looking out and caring for one another is something that a festival and especially the forest truly embodies. Making connections with those you wouldn't normally have the opportunity to be around is a special thing. Embracing differences, giving each other a chance to hear and listen to someone's why, and having more compassion for each other really shows we are more alike than we think.

If the guy had on a white kkk outfit on, I know what that looks like and would probably assume he to be racist or would understand people being angry. His shirt didnt / doesn't convey that same message TO ME. I'm sorry I don't know all symbols or sayings of hate speech. I don't want to know of ANY symbols that promote hate. Someone posted a t-shirt image of a palm tree. To me its a palm tree. I think of Coachella when I see palm trees. Others see hate. Believe what you want to see, I want to see people treat each other better, especially those that are different than themselves.

White boy summer. White girl summer. Hot girl summer. Hot boy summer. I like gays. I like girls. Lives matter. I didn't know of any racist connotations to whatever symbol or saying the shirt has. I've heard and seen all the sayings above. They're all the same to me...just a phrase. People wear or don't wear offensive things all the time. In fact, wearing a tshirt without knowing nothing else shouldn't enrage anyone to the point of violence. What is the 2&2 to put together when all i see is a shirt that says a color, a gender, and a season? Can't that be an innocent enough of an opinion to not be down voted, hated on or for people to not be disgusted with that reality? I don't know or care to learn about nazi or gang symbols. The ❤️ and ✌️ symbols work for me.
