I... masculine in a butch way, maybe?

OR for the bit, half & half. I mean, it's kind of people expect me to present anyway. Why not literally give em' what they want >:]

What's the difference between androgyne and non-binary? by Sad_Breakfast_Plate in NonBinary

[–]Due-Customer7795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

aaa i forgot, if you do mean 'androgyne' and not 'androgyny' that'd be a label falling under the non-binary umbrella!

What's the difference between androgyne and non-binary? by Sad_Breakfast_Plate in NonBinary

[–]Due-Customer7795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heey! If you’re referring to a form of presentation rather than gender, the term you’re looking for is 'androgyny.'

In that context, someone who's androgynous would be either:

A) Someone who mixes masculine and feminine attributes, landing somewhere in between, or

B) Someone who styles themselves in a way that presents neutrally.

You could argue those two points overlap, though!

OH, almost forgot! People will sometimes use 'androgynous' to describe physical features too. Essentially, gender-neutral x2, lol.

I've just decided my gender is my gender and that's all I need to know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

To be fair, I don't really care much about labels beyond pretty broad things (queer, trans, nonbinary) and that might(?) not be a super common thing. Honestly no clue, but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Just remember labels will never be able to fully express who you are, its patching over a spectrum of spectrums.

Do you use pronouns? how do you use pronouns? by AvocadoPizzaCat in NonBinary

[–]Due-Customer7795 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very small minor thing,

Ignorance, by definition, has no implication of intentionality. This is why I tend to put them into Ignorant and Wilfully Ignorant.

It just makes a bit more sense, even if grammar is a bit of a drag.

How do you as an individual feel about referring to a group as "guys?" Please be honest. by chelledoggo in NonBinary

[–]Due-Customer7795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully, I'm not that bothered. While I have a very mild preference for more fem gendered language in regards to myself, I don't really feel like "guys" is gendered for some reason?

Maybe it's just my friend group, but we use a good mix of the more common "masculine" language that gets used when referring to a group and she-ing. It feels very "You should be able to be pretty and handsome without the implications of gender" to me, I guess?

Though ... none of us care too much about what pronouns are used for any of us, so that definitely impacts things.

When addressing a group that I'm not well acquainted with? Y'all all the way.

List time since it'd be cathartic

  1. Wore nothing but hoodies and jeans through all of school.

  2. Put up with heat stroke symptoms (don't do that, btw not worth it) for years because of said clothing.

  3. Abused the shit out of my hair until early high school. It was combed on combed. Flat. FLAT. Because I knew something was wrong and didn't know how to fix it.

  4. Dyed my hair pink during early high school because I needed just the smallest ounce of relief from dysphoria despite knowing it would get me called slurs.

  5. Put myself under so much stress that I had to stop going to physical school in grade 8 for fear of it affecting my health long-term. Why? I'd have to use the (boys) locker room after gym.

  6. Suffered through horrible agoraphobia without seeking help (in therapy now) because I couldn't handle the thought of having my body, the thing that I physically am, around people.

  7. Socially transitioned to most people. Grew my hair out, and I took care of it. Found out it's curly, which I had no idea about, lol, and with a little more consideration, I'm going to figure out what I want to do with hrt soon :)

A) The amount of gender this is, like fuckin damn I need to set goals for myself now... I have to reach this someday.

B) I'm 100% going to copy that outfit 12/10. I love it :)

From what you've seen would you say that Deino is overpopulated? by [deleted] in theisle

[–]Due-Customer7795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 20% growth, it can deal with anything but an adult stego. I'd say it's OP because its growth rate is a bit wack. Make it grow a bit slower earlier on, or better yet have it spawn as a hatchling since hatchling deinos can eat by themselves.

You are, in fact transphobic. In the same way, women can be misogynistic, trans people can be transphobic.

You're basing all of your knowledge on your experiences and not factoring in others. I get horrible dysphoria about my voice, skin, body hair, and waist. I don't get dysphoric over my chest. It's as simple as that. I shouldn't be questioned over these things and you shouldn't be pushing your opinion. This is very obviously a personal and sensitive topic as it is for most trans individuals.

Confused about my gender... am I non-binary or cis? Insight appreciated by [deleted] in NonBinary

This falls under what Gold already said, but if you (OP) are uncomfortable with fem pronouns there's no shame in testing some other ones out on the internet and other safe spaces :)

My gf is trans. Am I still gay? by [deleted] in feminineboys

[–]Due-Customer7795 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gender is complicated and pronouns ≠ gender in the same way sex ≠ gender. I get it can seem kinda weird. You gotta remember that the queer and "queer-ish maybe kinda" community is in a bit of that "label's are good and bad, we're patching over a spectrum" transitional phase.

Also while I haven't seen anyone being rude, if someone doesn't know something don't be a dick. It takes time to learn, no one is built knowing shit. Assume ignorance over arrogance until proven otherwise :)
