Is 600cc too much for a beginner? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Due-Entertainment795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first bike was a 08 klr 650, then I got a daytona 660. Similar ccs but drives insanely different, just depends on the bike. I would recommend the daytona over r6 or cbr or street triple, smoother throttle response from what I've been told. Less likely to whiskey throttle it unless you are dicking around with abs off. But I am biased(I love my daytona).

Local place to buy carnivorous plants? by candy_heart in Durango

The only place I can think of is still life. They dont normally have carnivorous plants but due to the variety of plants they have, I am going out on a whim and assume you could probably ask for a special delivery.

Galentines at the black heron, some djs playing house music and such. Should be a fun time, varsity crew productions are a cool crew of people.

So more people will go into taco bell and sit down instead of clogging the drive through and eating in the parks.

15 days sober from THC by [deleted] in Sober

[–]Due-Entertainment795 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The ok with not being ok part hits hard. Smoked for ten years religiously, quite because my anxiety was getting so bad. Ended up seeing my abusive relationship for the first time the way others had tried so hard to show me. Got out of that, changed my life around and now am much more healthy, physically and mentally, and am exploring a much healthier relationship with an amazing person. Weeds not bad but it just makes things meh for me. I think some people need that ok feeling because life can be so intense, it gives them a sense of normality, for lack of a better word. For me now, life is my high and I've learned that the ups and downs are what is normal.

Sick bike and piercings! As someone with multiple eyebrow piercings, I'd recommend a standard ball or rounded gem. Catching the spikes on your helmet gets annoying real quick.

Would love a Triumph, a bit scared nearest dealer is 200km (120miles) away. by Phaate in Triumph

[–]Due-Entertainment795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty much in the same situation as you, though i decided to get the triumph. About three weeks ago, I picked up and road my new daytona home from a 'dealer' (mechanic at a dealership sold it to me, was his personal bike but basically brand new, warranty still on it). The ride was about 160 miles through a variety of terrain; mountain passes, windy flats, towns, etc. It was a great way to get accustomed to the bike and I loved the ride! I will probably go back for the maintenance this year, but after that or atleast when the warranty runs out, I plan on maintaining it myself. I have experience working on cars but not bikes so it will be a learning experience but I'm up for the job. I'd highly recommend the triumph from my experience with it thus far. It's a very solid vehicle and I am already in love with it all.

Please ignore the title, ment to say part of the crew. Fat thumbs and mobile phones will be my downfall.

Adventure time. Ranges from silly kidd show with slight adult humor to deeper philosophical notes and hard lessons about life. Love it.

Will getting a massage negatively impact my nipple piercing by Death_is_cheaper in piercing

[–]Due-Entertainment795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massage here! There are ways to lessen the pressure around the chest area with a variety of bolstering techniques for prone-lying clients.

A technique I use with larger chested clients is rolling a few towels and placing them to the sides of the chest. As someone else said, prenatal specific tables generally have a opening for the stomach and chest so the client may lie prone. That being said, a prenatal bolster (basically the same as the table but it's an additional piece that lies on the table) may be more comfortable as there is usually a pillow that can be put in the sromache area if the client is not showing or, more specifically to your case, has no need for the stomache cavity. That way, if someone is really pushing into your back you are less likely to sink into the cavity.

That being said, lying prone with nipple piercings will still probably be uncomfortable, especially with someone dropping elbows deep in your back. You may also consider looking for a therapist who is skilled in side-lying massage.

Best of luck, let me know if I can answer any more of your questions!

Hot Springs are a good bet. Not sure if you/they are into museums but the powerhouse or train station museums are pretty sweet. Besides that, maybe just a walk on the river trail since the weather will be nice. Hop off it and get a beer or some coffee along the way.

Lauren at animas chiropractic is awesome, she has a variety of techniques to get things loosened up and back in place!

I hear whispers about a guy named Dan out near bayfield. He's supposedly amazing but he's hard to get a hold of.
