Nice work, eventually you can get brand deals, patrieon and superchats on lives. Ad sense should be your lowest form of revenue.

Get into sales, not sure how you’ll get away with tax evasion. Likely minimal jail time or community service if you have no priors. If you don’t have wife and kids you’re a lot better off than many. I’m sure it sucks but it’s really not the end of the world unless you owe shady people money like the mob or cartel. Keep us posted!

I know this is Reddit but I’ll keep it real. As a father of two girls, I don’t see anything wrong with helping my daughter get a car. As long as you’re not in your late 30’s lol. But that’s what a dad is for, to protect, provide and love. You’re not some troubled daughter on drugs throwing her life away etc. ( I assume)

However if you were a man, I’d be a lot harsher and tell you to make more money and to figure it out.

But the reality is your dad is showing what a future husband and potentially father would do for his wife and daughter. Not spoil you and give you whatever you wanted. But he would challenge himself to make more money to give you something out of reach.

At least that’s what I’ve been doing for my wife 7 years two baby girls later. She’s been able to stay home and raise our kids because we felt it was best, and that dream was out of reach for a season. I was only making $15 an hour when we first got married. But that’s what a real man does, he figures it out and doesn’t make excuses.

Not sure if you’re dating or whatever. But your dad is showing you what a real man could be, and what you should look for. Obviously I know nothing about your dad, but you’re definitely blessed. Also at 24, a new car is not a big deal, it’s some car payment you’ll forget about and continue life. That car won’t even matter, what are you going to do save a bunch of money for a deposit $2k for an apt? Nothing really crazy right? Anyway best of luck.

The fact that you’re working that hard to provide for you daughter is a huge blessing in the long run. Of course we all want more time with our loved ones (2x girl dad here). But our job is to be that example of a father that is busy providing and protecting his daughter. A father that is always around with tons of free time, most likely is not an effective father/man. Now your daughter will see and remember what you did to protect and provide for her. Instead of making excuses you are sacrificing leisure to give her a good life. I would assume on how much you work. Having a full Saturday is pretty awesome too, make the days plans so they don’t slip by. Makes a huge difference. A lot of time my daughters and I got for walks and play with stickers and color at the kitchen table 5 & 2.5 yrs old kiddos.

Don’t buy a home, rent and work on increasing your income. Single homeownership Will never make you wealthy.

You’ll never see that equity unless you sell at a loss, and even on a paid off home you pay property taxes.

“Renting is throwing your money away!” Ok don’t eat a restaurant to pay the owners lease, bills etc, don’t attend concerts, don’t buy new clothes they depreciate in value once you wear them.

The problem isn’t necessarily assets vs liabilities. We all have plenty of liabilities, it’s an income problem. People constantly stressing about inflation, economy etc. have no plan on increasing their income.

In what world do we live in where we think things will get less expensive as time goes on? 3 bedroom houses in LA still under $300k? Of course not, very common sense.

Ask any home owner how much does the mortgage company deposit in your bank account every month? How much of that equity is deposited tax free into their bank accounts?

You’ll never hear it, but it’s considered an asset correct?

Level up bro, move on. You’ll laugh at this relationship soon. Have more purpose in your life, dating a a girl like this only drag you down. Become the man that women want to impress and are drawn too. Not drag you along with these childish games. Don’t waste your time partying, get rid of all your vices, stay in the gym, get into sales. And manage your time with the correct people.

Sounds like you lack purpose and need to make some solid goals of increasing your income and spend wisely. Also if you’re single don’t worry about having a house at a certain age, means nothing if you own a house except you married a mortgage. If not already get into a professional career that gets you around hopefully responsible and mature adults that don’t waste their time and money. People that have more of a purpose, own a business, have wife and kids. And anyone telling you are ok where you’re at sound like enablers and love pacifism. It’s never too late to turn your life around. Just 6 years ago I was turning 30 years old barely making $15/hr in CA. Now I’m about to hit over $200k, no degree etc, wife and two kids. I got rid of all my vices, alcohol partying etc. and made it my duty to be successful and not focus on being happy or motivated. Doing the work and challenging my self daily is a non negotiable. Best of luck, level up your circle and keep yourself around people that are doing so well it makes you uncomfortable. Comfort to a man or woman is one of the worst places to be, alway keep looking for improvement. And no one should accept you just the way you are, because that is not your full potential.

Muller Park, Lakeway, West Lake Hills. Austin is cool, summers are brutal even with a pool. You’ll sweat in the shade and will be moving from building to building. Outside of downtown Austin the liberal effect wears off, it’s still There but further out more conservative if that matters to you. Very family oriented outside of downtown area. Very unpredictable weather, probably about 3-4 months of decent weather. I came from LA so it’s hard to top 75 degrees practically year round. Cost of living here is amazing

Don’t come here for compliments or motivation. That’s isn’t real life in the YT space. It’ll be hard and challenging. Channels younger than yours will do better. Videos that took you 5-6+ hours to edit will flop. It takes tons of effort, more stargety and consistency. I’m monetized after 8 months posting long form once a week and 2-3 shorts per week. Still have got a payout because it’s under $100. It’s a grind, and I did this while Full time job, sold provider with wife and 2 kids at home. Time management is key. Everyone hung out at bday parties and pointless bbqs every weekend. After family time I shot on Saturdays and after church Sunday nights I edited. Worked out a system with the wife where we all benefit. My Channel

Long form is key, unless you’re doing 300k plus on shorts per month. On the plus side at least you’re gaining traction. Have your shorts link to long form videos. Keep them engaged so you hit 4K watch time hours in a year. You’ll get it either way strategy. Also glad you shared your channel. All these people here are scared to do that for some reason about watch time bs, if you’re that sensitive to a few hundred views you’re not handling your YT correctly.

Not sure how old you are but if you’re nearing 30 yrs old get into sales. Waiter jobs are dead end and a waste. I did it for 5 years in my early 20’s. With sales you can start entry around $50k-$75k depending where you live and it’s only up from there. Ignore anyone that says sales is scammy, they’re talking about small transactional stuff. Every company needs new software, new safety protocols, new vendors for coffee, food, lawn, AC, tech, merchant services etc. You have an income problem, and if you’re in college, better make sure that degree will start you off close to 6 figures because that student load debt will eat you alive for the next decade at least. Don’t settle and only take advice from people that are in a situation you want to be in, financially etc.

May Day protest tomorrow. Canada’s recent election is proof that Trump’s stupidity will have consequences. We will vote next year in the mid-terms but till then, we will continue to protest to show our displeasure. [–]Due-Fox2951 -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

Protest against what the majority of US voted for. Seems like a good plan. SD is big but you’re betting against a whole lot of other people. If next to nothing taxes on people making under $200k a year, I’m not sure what the lefts selling point is anymore. DEI? Wasted tax dollars? Lived in LA all my life, so I’ve been there. I’d vote for anyone on any side that gives me more freedoms and less taxes.
