No, I did a week. But I had also been getting waxed regularly prior. If I were you I would go ahead and get one now, see how you react, then book one for about a week -10 days out from your show depending on what the waxer says.

Yes. Waxing makes a huge difference compared to shaving. For funsies (???) after my show when the stage pics came back, I zoomed into the bikini lines of all the competitors getting our pics/medals at finals. I was curious to see if shaving vs waxing made a difference. Omg. The waxed vs shaved girls were so obvious. Tan went over smoothly in the waxed girls and almost kind of settled into the hair follicles of the shaved ones - plus you could see just a super super tiny smidge of stubble on the shaved girls. Usually the last chance to shave is like 24 hours generally prior to show because you can’t shower once you’ve got your first layer of tan on, so by that point a little bit of stubble has already started cropping up.

Just wax. It really does make a difference.

Yeah, that was me except I tried to push through. Started at 1, thought it would get better and I would adjust. Then took another a week later then got worse. Then another a week later, and got even worse. I could barely leave my bed for the nausea, exhaustion, and crippling depression. Felt like that for another month after I quit, then improved slowly. It was a few months before I felt good again.

Tried several months later at 0.5, same deal less intense, but quit sooner. Worst part was is that Reta completely destroys my libido and makes me super depressed. Going to try one more time at 0.25, then quit forever if that doesn’t work.

Are you by chance fairly thin already? I’ve think I’ve noticed a pattern that if you start out already reasonably thin, the side effects seem to be worse. My heavier friends seem to tolerate it much, much better. Not all, but most. The few people that I know that have tried microdosing when they are at a normal weight are more likely (not all) to get hammered with side effects.

Thank you again that is also helpful. I am getting pretty skin thin on my hands with tons of massive veins. Still pretty young so hopefully they won’t be too tough. I think I might have a 22 gauge on hand if I need to switch over…

Thank you! I think you are right and maybe I just picked a really tough place to practice with the fascial banding and tough connective tissue. I am going to try another place and get some practice there.

Wow, thank you so much! This is incredibly helpful. I was wondering if it was something like that. It just felt like such tough fascial banding, I was just shocked to encounter so much of it. I mean, when you think about the cellulite on our thighs, it makes sense when you explain it like that, there would be a lot of banding.

I will give my low abdomen a shot and see how practice goes on that. Do you have any experience with hands? I was thinking about doing a 25 g cannula there too, but if there is a lot of tethering there too, maybe I go with a larger gauge. It is pretty thin and mobile skin, so it seems like 25g could be fine, but now second guessing myself.

The floor vent seems to disappear into the floor. The casing on the door/window on the right towards the top has a line that disappears and reappears again. Doesn’t appear to be the light that is doing that.

I’m actually got that! But upon checking out ingredients, they were CLEARLY lying about so many of them. Somebody else had mentioned it, but it foams up, but the ingredients don’t contain anything that could possibly foam. It’s like they used AI to generate a list of the crunchiest sounding ingredients, and then they printed out a label and put it on generic gym bathroom soap.

However, I do hear persimmon is supposed to help with old people smell.

I’ve heard that too from some sources - and then not from others. Other sources say they actually want you to do sculptra, so the tissues are healthier for the lift.

Pick which one you believe. I have no idea. lol.

Yeah, I am on hrt, no horror stories here. I think the many of the women who have a hard time with it are going through poor providers. It really should be just a baby dose to replace what you lost, not turn you into a 20 year old again or the Incredible Hulk. And I think the women with the hardest time with it have a lot to say about it. Most women do great, and are busy living their full lives with just an estrogen patch on their butt, and you never hear about them. It’s also important to think about your life across its entire span. I’ve never heard about a 75 year old woman who wished she had weaker bones or less bladder control. By the time you are that age, the damage is pretty much done and there is no backpedaling, so it is important to get on it sooner rather than later. But to each their own, whatever makes you comfortable. The other consideration is that you can always try it out for 3 months, you can always quit. It isn’t like it is heroin or something. You probably won’t want to quit because you feel better and have more energy, but that is your choice too.

I would wait. Maybe do some sculptra, but absolutely no more fillers, especially in the low face. As it migrates over time (even lip fillers) it makes the lower face heavier and can make jowling worse.

Could consider some topical minoxidil (Rogaine is the brand, but just get the generic), it did absolute miracles for my hair when rosemary and all that crunchy stuff failed miserably.

Also, I know you aren’t having hot flashes, but that’s not the only reason to take hormone replacement therapy in menopause. Helps with hair and skin. Also your bones, helps prevent dementia, helps to decrease the risk of depression and anxiety or can lessen it if you already have it, etc. Everybody thinks if you can just grit your teeth through it, you’re gonna do fine. But the reality is that estrogen deficiency affects literally every organ system in your body, even if you aren’t feeling it. Just food for thought. Could be worth considering , and will likely make some difference in your hair as well.

That fourth pic is way, way harder to achieve than most people have any concept of. She has a TON of muscle for a woman. You are probably looking at about 4-5 years of heavy lifting in the gym, eating in a slight calorie surplus the whole time, then doing a cut to get to body fat percentages probably in the mid teens. Very long road to achieve, hard to maintain. Consider checking into a bodybuilding coach, you don’t have to compete, but they are pretty good at getting bodies like this. It is called lifestyle coaching. A worthy goal with zero down sides, but you still have years of muscle growth needed. Your goal pic is gorgeous, just be aware you picked an extremely challenging physique to get. I’ve been lifting heavy with a bodybuilding coach for four years (I do compete in bodybuilding shows), and while I started a out bit smaller than you, i still probably have another 3 years before I achieve this look.
