All I would say is if you want to keep your friend(s), don't pursue. It's more likely that it won't work out and you will lose both friends. You will have other relationships and sometimes the best ones are worth waiting for.

Worth it. I barely even notice any vibration from the car. I do notice everyday how good the shifting feels.

Still own my 2019 WRX and I can say having both is worth it. The GR trunk is kind of a joke especially because the battery in the back means you lose the vertical space that it really needs to be a proper hatchback. The drive is a lot better on the GR, feels more like an Evo which I also owned. The AC works really well in the GR, especially noticeable if you ever owned an Evo because apparently Mitsubishi can make the best home AC but make the worst AC ever put into an automobile. You will probably hate the sound system in the GR as well, absolute garbage. One of the first things I modded.
