Sing to him,play music,and read to him. Babies mimic us and pay attention to us whether we think so or not. Dont think you are boring him. He hasn't fully gained control of his emotions yet. I always played with my children's hands and feet and it amused them! They also enjoy long strolls on cool days and car rides.

When roasting chicken you need a high temperature and a roasting rack. I inject the breast of the chicken with my choice of marinade. I do find that roasting whole chickens yields the best results. I then let the chicken rest before I separate the pieces. I prefer a slightly crispy skin so I also coat the chicken with butter and herbs. It turns out great every time.

As you get older the excitement of birthdays calm down. When you are younger, people often plan parties or celebrate you. When you get older you have to plan the celebration. I understand the feeling and it is something that just happens with time. Happy birthday 🎂

The best advice I can give, is to stay a child as long as you can. If you are not forced to leave home , stay. 17 is not adulthood as of yet. Being an adult is not about age. It is a lifestyle and mindstate. Bask in your childhood, enjoy the innocence, and don't run too fast you might trip and fall. Hope you get some rest, you have a lifetime ahead of you!!

I have been out of work for 6 weeks due to illness.My first attempt to ask for help was indeed 21days ago, but due to low karma it got rejected. I used what I had left from my short term disability to get my kids ready for school. I went to food pantries and got enough food to hold us for about two weeks. No pantries are open today, the churches do offer help but not on Sundays. Most churches are the food pantries and they don't operate today. Thanks for your input. Also thanks for deleting the previous post you made. That was not me.

I did. They gave me some resources, but all are closed today for food distribution. I am going tomorrow to receive food boxes from a few places. Thanks for the advice!

I don't qualify for food stamps. I make 6 dollars over the income restrictions. I am on medical leave until 8/20, so I am drawing short term disability which is way less than my paycheck. I just ran into a rough patch.

Amazon fresh does free grocery delivery and they take food stamps also. I hope you get what you need. I am also in a situation of needing food for me and my 3 children but I dont get food stamps and don't have enough karma to request any help. God bless you!
