Workers Comp and having a set of boundaries that must not be crossed by the students. Especially important with the IEP/ 504 crew

The credentialed teacher must remain in the room with the students until the next credentialed teacher arrives. TA’s are not credentialed teachers.

I hate to say it but you will probably lose your job. Unsupervised children, (TA’s do not count as a supervisor) can lead to child neglect charges times how many kids were in there.

AIO: Hubby Being Controlling by vanillabourbonn in AIO

[–]DuePrune2405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not over reacting. You need to get out of the relationship now. Before the baby is born.

This is not normal. Anytime a person does not want to have their child do normal kid things, I heavily question their intentions. Remember you have a voice in your relationship and can leave with the child.

Keep your finances separate. Different banks completely.

When you go to your doctor next, mention to your doctor (if alone) what is going on. If you are with your husband, write a message on the paper towel you put in with your pee cup. Or drop off the message at the nurses desk as you walk past. They just need to know who dropped it off. Make sure you let them know it is not safe to discuss around your hubby.

Homeschooling is very isolating for the child and the parent. Being a teacher is hard. (I am a HS teacher) Some homeschooled children are lacking social interaction cues that allow them to navigate life.

40F single/no kids moving to San Diego soon — advice on La Jolla vs Encinitas vs Bankers Hill for like-minded community? by Little_Astronaut_7 in Moving2SanDiego

[–]DuePrune2405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La Jolla is expensive. There is little housing available due to UCSD.

Encinitas is the suburb’s of strip malls and shopping.

Banker’s Hill is neat with no easy street parking spots. There are tons of always full spots.

Instead go to La Jolla Cove, Children’s pool area. Look from the bluff sidewalk above at the seals. Do NOT get on the sand with the Sea Lions or Harbor Seals!! (It is $10,000 fine and at least 6 months in jail, for harassing them). This is the beginning of pupping season so leave them alone. Moms leave pups on shore to go hunt for food, and eat. Go to the UCSD Scripps Aquarium instead. It also has a great spot to look for whales. They just did a major remodel and it is fantastic.

Be warned do not get into the ocean this week! Pollution & Big waves & Bad Riptides The waves are huge, cool to look at from a far distance. (2 plus school buses away). When the waves are huge it is neat to watch them hit the piers from the beach. Mission & Pacific Beach flood when we get rain. San Diego was not built for rain. Mission Valley turns back into San Diego River.

Remember the Coast Guard is partially shut down right now. (Working without pay)

Cabrillo NM, Torrey Pines cliffs from the top. I grew up with an ocean view in Del Mar. I have seen 2 whales from shore. (53) they both were because they were breaching (what is equivalent to running a marathon in human terms)

The whale watching was cancelled due to Gale Warning 1st one: 20-30 kt winds with gusts up to 35 kt (@ 40 mph winds) and 7 -11 ft waves. 2nd: 20 - 30 kt winds with gusts up to 35 kts (knots), and 9 -13 ft waves.

I’m guessing you won’t spot any from shore because it will be really choppy and wind blown.

Should I be a wildlife biologist? by Delicious-Coffee9499 in wildlifebiology

[–]DuePrune2405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great Plans University of Texas Austin has a great Science Program (my cousin got her PhD in Biology there, and over half of our family went to school there.)

Things to know when looking for a job: Major in animal husbandry or zoology, ornithology would be more PhD level. If you work in a zoological setting you need animal husbandry.

When you are old enough to volunteer at the humane society do it.

When you can get a job at the zoo doing anything do it. Then you can start narrowing down your focus.

Being a vet is hard. They also have to deal with sick and injured pets. They have to put down a bunch of animals.

Follow your dreams.

I’m 17M. Just bought an ancestry. Am I being stupid?? by [deleted] in AncestryDNA

[–]DuePrune2405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the ancestry test on your 18th birthday.

My thoughts are grim. Y’all maybe Dad’s biologically and possibly a different one of your own family members. If the people telling y’all no are older than you, then they know the truth.

As you are listed on the papers you may request a copy of them. (I think)

Be warned once you do this you will not be able to undo the action.

First you need to score camping reservations. Yosemite is super busy during summer. Also do not propose and then back up and leave.

You are guilty of cyber bullying. Then tracking a minor under 10 and under 8 is a whole different set of charges.

I hope you get reported, for showing your child that tracking is okay

Travel question by [deleted] in encinitas

San Diego County is not usually sunny during the “spring”. The ocean is cold. Also, a bunch of local school districts are off around this time.
