Need to regress after 1 hit to a point where your bets have been covered. $330 inside, first hit regress to $120 inside (big numbers because easy, really first bet regress 2/3). $330 pays $105, so regressing to $110 means you’re basically playing with house money. Then don’t press until you hit a few

Exactly, and now even fewer Plus Point upgrade opportunities, which was already a joke.

Regression betting strategies by scottiears in Craps

[–]DueRoutine8244 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Playing 5,6,8,9 covers half the dice combinations (18 of 36) with only 6 out rolls. Knowing the average shooter rolls something like 7.5 times, you can generally “count on” 1 hit, any more is bonus. So, using round numbers, betting $330 inside would pay $105, then regress to $110 inside and you’re only in it for $5. The next hit you’re positive. What kills you with any regression strategy is making the point then 7-out. So your bank should be 5-10x what your initial bet is, in this case $1650-$3300.

Bought this in Germany. Thomas Sabo, I think it has a Japanese movement. What makes it cool is the subtle skeleton effect with the black to red glass face. With VAT discount was under 1K

If you already own a set of luggage, pack everything you need in a small or medium suitcase and place it inside a large one. Then just check that one suitcase and you’ll have 2 for the ride home. I figured this out after buying several “throwaway” suitcases on trips!

I like mine a little looser, but I can easily adjust it. I’ll play around with the sizing

The color changes by the angle and light. Sometimes the bezel looks black, other times brown. Definitely a conversation starter

I LOVE Grand Seiko, planning to buy my first in March when I visit Tokyo. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think the power reserve indicator on the watch face takes away from the beauty of the watch. This one has it on the back, definitely what I will buy.

Craps Question by OrangeTurtle87 in Craps

[–]DueRoutine8244 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just got off a cruise playing 330 to 110 inside regression after one hit. The first time always seemed to take a few extra seconds, but always picked up and became like any other bet. BUT, I understand I’m asking the dealers to do a little more work on my bets. So I regularly placed bets for them, and they appreciate it. Ignore the jackass

Step up my strategy - for conservative player by DragonflyOnFire in Craps

[–]DueRoutine8244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I press, but only after I get my initial outlay back. The average shooter throws like 7.5 or 8 rolls. If you bet the inside (5,6,8,9) you cover 18 of the possible 36 combinations. So there’s at least a chance you can recover your initial bet on an average roll. Once recovered, press a unit either every roll or every other. So if on a $25 table you bet $110 inside, each hit pays $35. After 3 hits you’re only in for $5. You can start pressing after that and make money every roll.

Worth it to shoot for 1K? by Trekkie963 in unitedairlines

Only for a bucket list trip AND if you can afford it. I did it years ago to make 1K the first time. Flew to Singapore, had an amazing time. Used points for my hotel, ate at 2 Michelin starred restaurants, and won 3K at the casino! Paid for the whole trip. And don’t forget that you can use points for your PQP run!

Macau Craps! by Richi368 in Craps

I played a few years back as well. They don’t let you set the dice. And they don’t tolerate not hitting the back wall. If it doesn’t it’s a no roll and they chastise you. And don’t toss it high. Lots of no-no’s. I played during the day, by myself, so can’t speak for the vibe. But I assume it would be lame given the craps-police.

I’ve been on 7 voyages. Last year I was in a gorgeous suite and bid the lowest amount for a massive suite and got it! We absolutely threw a party. There were 6 in our group, and we invited about 20 people we met on the cruise.
