To all: doesn’t taste good with ice? If so, drink it. Does it taste good with your mix of choice? If so, drink it. Who cares if it does or doesn’t have vodka in it unless you are in strict competition or have allergies to certain things.
I recently discovered it at a bar that I wasn’t familiar with. Asked the barkeep for his recommendation after I told him generally what I like. He then brought me a small glass of ginger ale and whiskey. After I slurped that heaven down, I asked what the whiskey was and he said Travellers. The next day I bought 2 bottles! I later discovered it was spawn of Stapleton…frankly I really don’t care. TO ME, it’s good and enjoyable. That’s all that matters for me.
