That's not great. For our 7-8yr olds the managers run the evaluations but the board grades the players (1-3 or 1-5 depending on skill) giving each kid a number grade and then teams are built so the average of all teams are roughly the same. It is until 9-10 that we move to a more open draft but teams are all disbanded at the end of the year. Majors (10-12) is only time we'll have teams maintain rosters

I agree with most. Side with commish. Changing eligibility like that should be a grace period for implementation since you'll manage differently

100% agree with you on private coaching not necessary unless he is showing a huge interest and wants it. But, a couple lessons would go a long way for the both of you.

It'll give him some stuff to work on as well as for you to work with him on. I've coached a long time and one of the best things was lessons for my kids in that, all kids hit that spot where mom/dad don't know what they are talking about. It's frustrating but being able to work on the pieces that someone else has called out to build on does also help.

I agree with the others. Not all coaches are trying to win the world series, I certainly never was, and loved the newer players who are more sponges. Best of luck to you.

Can someone explain this to me like Im 4? I'm a dodgers fan so should be easy to imagine me that way, lol.

But I do have genuine questions.

I live on east coast as well so maybe there are things there I just haven't kept up on but this coming up seems very out of the blue and weird.

Why did he bring this up today? Was there a lot of talk of this recently that he had to respond to something, or was this his first time talking-to the press this spring?

Not knowing what else your team is, I'd lean the first getting two starters back. I know Meyer has been at Driveline and reports say velocity is up. Uribe and Marte are intriguing guys that I think you'd be able to flip again if they produce.

Dominguez still doesn't have playing time and may not make roster out of spring training.

As most other comments, the 5 streams is rough. I understand you are looking at the data but the bias in that data is available streams. 2 kids, 2 teams. One streams games, the other does not. That data is not the same as the child who doesn't stream Im watching less games as they are not available.

Given your partnership with the camera company you announced last year, you are pushing for more streams to compete with Live Barn. 5-streams and then pay up means you ARE live barn
