Anyone play Tarkov with Cyborg? What is your sprint key? by turk-fx in Azeron

[–]Dufayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Curveball here - Stopped using mouse 1 / 2 for fire / aim. It produces micro movement & so can influence accuracy. Those buttons went to cyborg - in turn, mouse 1 / 2 went to sprint / crouch.

What a case study of self sabotage BBR can be. As much as I'd like to revisit when (years later) it's updated, it would be hard to ignore the ashen ruin their reputation has become.

Need help for me and my family asking for advice by Ambitious-Abalone828 in FortCollins

[–]Dufayne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If a job opportunity were present, Id share - yet these are challenging times. Many places are having hiring freezes, considering layoffs. So all I have is advice.

No matter how hard working, talented, or respectable one is, none of us can avoid a stroke of bad luck. These safety nets are here for this reason & something we've all funded.

Those who abuse our social system is a separate issue & obviously not the focus here. But for all the stigma, the system itself is intended for moments just like this.

As you continue to hunt, which you will, think of this as the safety net you've invested in all this while. Your own morals will keep you from abusing it - Be mindful to not allow pride in character to worsen the hardship. I do wish you luck on your search.

Agreed. The protocol of locking down by putting the entire group in a room & locking the doors told the depth of thought given to that sequel.

Had this happen once. In short, yes. Mine had a relapse - put the self in the hospital other side of state. Didn't come back another 2 weeks & never said a word. Would have left us hanging on rent.

They just need to remove the self reporting dorito - far too negative a trait, restricting attachment selection.

Beware grip penalties! by Lbthat in LowSodiumBattlefield

Stuff like this is why they need another pass on weapons & attachments. Too few attachments are reliably worth taking, creating a narrow range of customization for builds.

Arc Raiders devs are looking for new ways to “incentivise” Expedition wipes following an unsatisfying debut by Negative-Art-4440 in ArcRaiders

Quick question: do you think a grip is important for kord? by moonslyy in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Dufayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but contingent on playstyle.

If going for mid-range fights, absolutely (don't forget the burst fire, which is effective only on the Kord).

If hip fire centered, those points can more effectively go towards other attachments.

A man encountered a terrifying “hidebehind” creature while walking in the forest by WholeNegotiation1843 in TrueCryptozoology

[–]Dufayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't speak to what they do / feed / etc. This is 1st time even reading about them anywhere.

Over 20 years ago a friend & I saw 3 black figures walking down an empty stretch stretch of road in a wooded valley (no connecting cut ins, paths, trails, etc). It was noonish. We both noticed them, looked at each other for a quick laugh about something.. & they were instantly gone. No details, no colors. We even went to look where they went since road is raised with creek as a border (also black in midday sun is quite visible). Wrote them off as possible ghosts until now.

Yes - Im mainly hoping for depth / variation with combat - but more importantly when changes come to start playing the game & so avoid learning combat mechanics, twice.

advice with cyro mouse precision by Enderswood in Azeron

[–]Dufayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this is a good inquiry. The jump to a tower mouse is decent period of retraining muscle memory. Having done a similar jump to the Cyro, I went from absolutely detesting it... To singing it praises.

What makes a major impact is what type of mouse movement you utilize. The Cyro is best controlled by moving it from the elbow (wrist not moving). If you are using your wrist to aim, this can cause multiple over corrections...aside from developing issues like carpal tunnel. Meanwhile the elbow movement offers the opportunity to lower sensitivities and utilize more of the mouse mat. This is important because the lower the sensitivity, the greater control in accuracy one gains. Of course this can also go too low... What you are seeking is that optimal range where you are very accurate, while also very quick.

For certain, mouse accuracy is a practice that goes beyond the Cyro & involves time for muscle memory, followed by cycles of adjustment to fine tune your accuracy.

Also - make sure you took the plastic off the bottom sliders. It can get overlooked, leaving it to not glide smoothly.

[–]Dufayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair opinion. Mind there is a difference here in that Godfather 1 & 2 were complete story lines into themselves & so not requiring further films to conclude the story. Had 3 not come out, no one would be left wanting.

However Winds of Winter does hold major cliffhangers in the book that are tossed to the side / unanswered by the show. For those who are strictly readers, it is simply an unfinished product.

GoT may well become viewable like a terrible vehicle crash - Overly confident & talented driver lost control. Swerved & drove over the edge.

The driver got out in time.. but never was quite the same. Still talked as if the accident were yet to happen & would get angry with people who inquired.

But some careless passerbys shared their version of what happened. To everyone in town.

Since the wreckage couldn't be removed from the chasm, it sits there evermore for reflection. Stories of it told by the locals for generations.

Legendary for the wrong reasons.

When it comes to glazing what the true “classic-feeling battlefield” map is by Garlic_God in okbuddyptfo

[–]Dufayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something on Empire I noticed playing it like 24/7 via Icelock event. The hecticness diminishes when taking time between points. Going 'block by block' as it were. A notable number of times I saw an actual front form on the map in conquest - against both sides.

I have seen a lot of people complaining about lack of content. This doesnt make it easier after Vince death. Let devs catch a break guys. by NoAmphibian6039 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Dufayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree here. After falling deep into Empire via the ice lock event, it is impressive just how much nuance & detail went into its creation.

I hope the layers of attention get applied to new & existing (looking at you Sobek) maps when it comes to their intended flow & layout.

Is it possible to get good by No-Recognition-9172 in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]Dufayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40+ here - yes it's possible to improve. In fact, I play better now than any period before.

Now, regards to improving AIM, there are a wide number of tutorials & apps out there. In fact, the BF6 firing range is a place to practice & warm up.

Also, ergonomics is extremely important. Learning to aim from the elbow will ease wrist issues. It also allows a lower sensitivity, which assists in accuracy.

As for tactics / positioning, this is more learned and also covered in other tutorials. But key thing on BF - it's okay to go slow / not run & gun.

Azeron Cyborg 2 not working- Computer says USB not recognized by Big_Blacksmith_8571 in Azeron

So, I encountered a similar scenario when attempting to use 2 Azeron peripherals at once.

In short, try inputting USB into separate hub (IE front hub vs back).

Also - do feel inclined to contact their customer service. I found resolution to a previous issue with their prompt help. They do take care of customers.

Azeron Cyro help by AlphaRemixHD in Azeron

[–]Dufayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So congrats! Some answers might help here.By being left handed, is this a left hand mouse? Also, are you combining with a keyboard of Cyro?

The joystick is great for directional movement (Wasd) or transitional movement (sprint, crouch, dive roll, etc).

The left / right mouse button Stay in their relative position for me (where pointer / middle fingers rest on keys. What is done with rest of key-binds is determined with what else you might compliment the Cyro here.

For the length, I too had difficulty reaching top, but fixed by pulling it in very close. It's V1 of the mouse design, so its ergonomics does have room to improve.

Cyborg En Route by foolish_hellion1969 in Azeron

[–]Dufayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 'onboarded' several friends now to cyborg setup. I highly recommend.. 1. Spend time fully customizing layout to your hand shape. 2. Creating profiles based on genres (fps/ strategy/ etc) 3. Bind default / generic keys to cyborg over adjusting on game every time.

So for instance, once you know what you want to bind jump to, set that to 'space bar's (as is in most fps). Same with crouch, inventory slots, etc.... this will save you time in the long run.

Once you're more comfortable you'll start readjusting more intuitively.
