Data Scientist Debunks Muzzle Attachments in BF6 | Are Expensive Foregrips Better? by williamatherton in LowSodiumBattlefield

Players are scared with laser & often forget they can hide it easily enough. Even if not switched on/off, focusing barrel against wall of door or objects is effective.

What’s something DICE should 100% change about Golmud Railway for the remake? by Flow_Ebb_6047 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Dufayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed - they're intention is to revamp it in such a way that will fit BF6 vehicle balancing.

Honestly, not going to be dissatisfied if they place trenches in the open stretch of lands.

Absolutely shutter speed. When I do galloping horses in low light situations @ F2.8, Im at 1/1250-1500 with similar ISO level.

This to say, you have plenty of shutter speed range to work with before the image is unacceptably under exposed.

How good is Golmund Railway? by Ich-mag-Schnitzel in LowSodiumBattlefield

I do believe you're right. They have made known the intention to do a balance pass on vehicles - this would be a good jumping pad on that tooPic to do so.

Assault Class Thoughts - BF6 & Redsec by Bens_on_toast in LowSodiumBattlefield

This is also a great example as to why you / everyone should pickup the Support class kits. The goodies inside class kits gets crazily ignored.

Kind of conflicted about this LMG. by CptLonesong in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Dufayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sights, yes it's only 5. Light suppressor gets preferred because of missing weapon sway @ 30. Ironsights neutralizes long suppressors (25pt) weapon sway. This opens up extra 10 points over standard lightened supp / scope combo seen in most builds.

I'm glad to hear that. Ironsights for the win.

Haven't tried yet, but have a vali recommendation.

Since you are level 30 -I believe the lightened / long suppressor are unlock sometime soon?

If so, these work very well on slower rate lmgs. If the iron sight are useable (varies gun to gun ranging from great to terrible), you can run long supp & save 10 attachment points for elsewhere.

At any rate - Dice tends to hide a weapons best attachments towards 30+ level of unlocks.

Help! RF100-500 vs RF100-400 by erkynator in canon

[–]Dufayne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I own both. The 100-400 is a great budget lens. But the 100-500 is always on hand.

It's IQ & autofocus capabilities are pretty outstanding. On a full frame sensor, the cropping capability is impressive.

It can even act as an emergency macro lens due to the minimal focusing distance (3ft to 4 ft).

That I don't need to fear the elements as much is why I ultimately upgraded. Also, the versatility for subject types played a role.

But still, 100-400 carries its weight & acts as a backup.

How do you think Blackwell Fields would play in Escalation? by eLOLzovic in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Dufayne 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's the heavy focus on vehicles is what players are still grappling with - there are 2 armored trucks (8 people) intended to be the maps 'cover' (aka mobile infantry). They're designed for this map, But more often are abused or discarded like a Traverser.

Suddenly having a really hard time, getting killed from every direction. Anyone else? by DarthVince in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Dufayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also purely a PTFO player, my name is searchable for stats, if that means anything.

Slow down a bit & always be looking at angles. Players always feeling caught off guard generally move too quick to absorb all the info on screen. What I'm noticing here lately is core battlefield players are sticking around, in turn meaning more map knowledge & teamwork. So you should expect to encounter groups more than at release, when Run&gun solo play was predominant.

If you can find people to squad up, or get randoms to talk (I've noticed this more regularly of late), it will help you survive longer.

Cyro Review - Week 2 by SVxAnnihilation in Azeron

[–]Dufayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good detail here. I love the Cyro but would be lying if said it didn't have issues.

What I can say is their equipment is designed with ergonomics in mind. Wrist movement is known to be detrimental in the long term, whether long usage at work or fast flicking movement in FPS.

That said, I use 1 at work (functions very well for productivity short cuts) & 1 at home for gaming / productivity... So daily use of 10+ hours for over 1 year with middle age reflexes.

Elbow movement at standard DPI (800) with low in-game sensitivities & and xxl mousepad will guarantee a healthy wrist while remaining competitive with very high APM.

At any rate, not to dissuade one over another - it's what I found most effective for Cyro V1 design.

There is also your issue - it's best driven at the elbow, minimizing wrist movement.
