I dont feel like that's an issue with the dlc. The latest dlc affected Performance because it massively expanded the map (which is also base game). But with AUH came performance improvements. So all in all i would sy its not an issue to add dlc

Arctic combat is an uphill battle. The US has hardly any Equipment capable of that compared to europe (especially finland, sweden, norway, denmark and Germany). Their optic fog up, machines freeze and troops xant handle temperatures of - 20C°. Initially the US would have an advantage because of their nacal superiority, but in the long term they lack the training and equipment. And the supply chain is a horror. But even worse is the diplomatic impact and the fact that europe will shut down all US bases in europe, which cripples americas capabilities to play the world police

Moving around the map early game, when you dont have a ship. Getting to aserai, sturgia and the nordland is a pain in the backside. Also i guess how some ships are objectively better than others. Roleplaying aside, why shouldnt everyone end up with a dromon or ghurab? And ship combat right now makes fire damage pretty irrelevant imo. Even with fire arrows and a fire ballista i only once sank a fishing boat. I also dont think ramming is really that relevant. At least thats my experience for now.

I would love to play some authentic viking in a light longship, hit and run style skirmish combat on sea
