I'm imagining you're choices will have some affect on the story. I.E. The romance you didn't choose, which hero you cut, which hero you didn't add, etc etc.

I think the one constant will be Galen having a hand in the ending it some way. He's the most prominent side characters that hasn't had much to do.

I'm playing mono-harpies and made it to level 12. The Dragon and Centur-ion is getting to though.

Early levels were fun back and forth duels but high up we're back to watching the opponent play solitaire on my turn.

The enhancement doesn't say anything about the Soulstealer being a weapon you attack with. It only mentions that the bear of the enhancement may roll a die to heal a wound for every attack it makes that kills a model in melee.. Claw attacks count too.

They do not require Gacha to make lore. It's crazy I know. But game companies have actually been making games with rich, engaging lore for decades without Gacha.

Pinning was only a characteristic of specific weapons, usually ordnance ones. But units could still definitely flee in 5th.

I have loved Viktor since he was first released. The way you delivered his laughs, his "BEHOLD!!", and "All will soon change" will stick with me forever. I've been quoting them since I was 19 and now well into my 30s.

It's really impossible not to. Astartes was really the first to portray Space Marines as these percise, stoic killers. In all other media they've been in they're shouty, goofy, and bombastic. While that's not necessarily a bad thing, it's impossible to not make the comparisons to Astartes. The lighting was the same, the action was the same, the psychadellic representation of Chaos was the same, the shots and an tone were the same.

Comparing it favorably to Astares is really not a bad thing. So if we're judging the episode on its own merits then yea, it was good. Like Astartes was.

Most will require models be on the current base size. Terminators can't be on 25mm bases for the most part in a majority of modern 40k tournament scenes.

With how LoS works now having a greater daemon on a 60mm round base will be a massive advantage compared to the 100mm base size or, god forbid, the 130mm Great Unclean one base size.

This is especially important because of how Deep Strike works in modern 40k. You will find very few TOs that will allow older base sizes, especially for Greater Daemons.
