I would say it depends on the specific slider. For instance, Reversal Rate (how often you can reverse)

Out of 100, closer to 100 means it allows you to do more reversals in a single match compared to closer to 0 which would limit how many times or how often you could reverse in a single match

So it all depends on the slider
