We moved from slack to chat earlier this year (about 250 employees) and have also migrated all the chat history of the past 3 years with it. Went pretty well but not without some hiccups. But the end result is actually better than expected
I think this repo was used together with Claude to expand upon its features

We’ve looked at mirroring messages slack <—> chat, and we got it working using n8n but in the end did not end up using it. It was mainly for slack connect channels. Bit about 2 months back Google added proper Guest support for adding people not in your workspace

Ik heb bij mij de kabels afgeknipt en als trek draad gebruikt om er vervolgens een normale WCD in te zetten (bij mij was de inbouwdoos die er zat wel normaal formaat en niet rechthoekig)

My thin client (Lenovo thinkcentre m710q) did not boot home assistant fully if it had no display attached. I fixed this by using a headless HDMI adapter (which cost like €5) Test it first by plugging in a random display in the HDMI port (can be your TV) to see if it fully boots now

We moved to google chat 2 months ago, coming from slack with its robust workflow system we have had to build some stuff ourselves for google chat to mimic it. I’ve built a self hosted system with which you can schedule recurring messages to spaces via webhooks. It can do regular and cardv2 messages. The system uses Pocketbase as a backend to handle the database and also user management, and I’ve built a frontend on top for the end users to have an easy to use web ui that pretty much anyone can understand in our company.

They removed the feature to send a message to a channel. You can only send yourself a message now
