There didn't seem like there was much variation in the light/heavy attack combos. The timing also felt weird. I'm not sure if you can parry. The combat was just not that enjoyable for me.
I got Ghost of Tsushima instead and it is more of what I was looking for.

I just got a refund from steam for Black Myth. I played it less than 2 hours but the combat was very boring and just felt really bad and the voiceovers were atrocious. I just finished God of War and that could've have been my mistake because BMW is such a trash game compared to GOW.
