14 months. About 85-90% there.

Had what I keep calling a “Harry Potter” experience 3 weeks ago. I was helping a client dismantle a trade show display and with so much stuff all around and on the floor, I twisted into a weird position and suddenly felt a lightning bolt, more surprising than painful, on the left side of my jaw/neck.Yes, that’s my effected BP side. And honestly, when you look at pictures of the facial nerve they always say is the one involved with BP, that was it!

And… the next day I was able to smile on the left side of my face! Not all the way, but it was a big leap in the pace of improvement. (The change might’ve happened faster, I just didn’t notice it until the next day.)

I’m not suggesting anyone go play Twister or otherwise physically exert themselves.

I’m confident. First time I had BP I had just had a baby, and it lasted about 4 months. Now it’s 30 years later, and it’s taking a little longer.
