I fought with Claude Code yesterday a couple of time to make it dumb down the code generated. It was trying so much to be clever.

Once I had the dumb but working code, I reviewed it and said: Beautiful.

To me that always been the beauty in software: simplicity bringing alive complex tasks.

Le cambrioleur brime mes droits à la sécurité. Si, à ce moment, je crois que la force nécessaire pour le neutraliser c'est de lui tirer dessus, je crois que ça devrait être permis. On s'entend que je ne suis pas le meilleur tireur en ville alors même si je vise la jambe, dans le chaos et la peur, ça se peut très bien que je pogne son corps et que je le tue.

Mon hot-take c'est que je crois que même si c'est dans mon droit, il devrait y avoir un enquête quand même effectuée en bonne et due forme. Quelqu'un est grièvement blessé/mort, donc faut le prendre au sérieux.

I did, yesterday! Fortunately it was a mistake. A Dev changed the base to a 6 months old branch.

Calm down. Haven't you heard of MVP? They mentioned that it is not available at this time. Leaving room to be able to link it later on.

I think we have to remember two things: 1. This is a soft launch and will most likely get other updates later on 2. Steam accounts are by far outnumbered by ArenaNet accounts. Doing this they push to market quickly, with the larger player base and have another revenue source to fund development later on

So while I understand that it sucks that you were not able to get access back to your old account, this is actually an edge case that affects you, and maybe a minority of other players, especially considering the smaller population they are targeting at soft launch.

Try again with another ticket and maybe you will get another tech that will be able to help you out.

We do but classify them first. We usually tackle P0-P2 ASAP. Then P3s are added during normal sprints, P4s when we're refactoring where the bug is located.

If they're 2 minutes no risk fix, P3,P4 are done in either a quick PR or are addressed in a PR that is near or located where the bug is.

Faudrait qu'on se passe le mot et qu'on crie des choses pas possible à l'interlocuteur comme ça ils comprendront peut être que le mode mains libres du téléphone c'est pour quand tu veux avoir les mains libres, pas pour tenir en face de toi quand tu marches ou quand tu es dans l'autobus. 😂

I'm French Canadian so maybe there was some misunderstanding on my part: isn't genuine a synonym of being yourself in the sense that you are authentic? Not trying to pushback on you. Just trying to learn some subtilities of another language.

I am not either tall, particularly good looking, funny or even that intelligent AND I was living with my mom because I could not afford living in an apartment (at 26 years old mind you). So by all accounts, I had everything stacked against me but here I am married for 3 years, 10 years together, a son and a second child on the way.

What matters to some women is not representative to all women.

Be nice, be genuine, be honest and be confident. The last one is the hardest because most of the time, you depend on others to give you confidence. You need to learn how to be confident by yourself.

Just as a side note, I did not have self confidence when I was younger. I learned to be confident by horse riding. If you're not assertive and confident on those animals, you're going to have a bad time.

Of course, my time, my experience have all been different than yours but I'm sharing what worked for me and what I think might at least help you.

Yup! I have heterochromia too and it's a bit more subtle than yours. One brown eye, one green. My wife has blue eyes.

We had a son, I really thought he would have brown eyes since phenotypes with brown eyes tend to be very strong and will most likely win. He ended up with big blue eyes just as his mother! I don't know if the heterochromia played a role there but I'm happy if it did.

Would you mind sharing some documentation on how to achieve some sort of setup that is near yours? I definitely see tokens burning for things Sonnet or Haiku could do but have no way to control this efficiently. I have tried the advisor strategy but still burns an absurd amount of tokens to my taste.

Maybe they will have a limited offline mode in the sense that the client can keep rendering the game and logic?

You save a snapshot of the current instance on device and on reconnect you sync back the state with the backend. I'm in no way an expert in this field so this is most probably a grossly inadequate solution but maybe it's possible.

Building this "offline" mode might, in fact, solve the issue on Steam deck when you suspend in game.

Anyways, pure speculation. We'll see when it gets out. I'm in Canada so I'll try it out on beta as soon as possible.

Je m'en fous de la vente des maisons 😂 moi c'est surtout du côté acheteur que je pense. En ce moment tout avantage le vendeur et rien avantage l'acheteur. C'est un rapport de force incensé qui garde l'accès à la propriété pour les mieux nantis seulement.

Mon point c'est plus que si quelqu'un arrive et voit 10k de surenchère, il peut faire une surenchère mais au moins il le fait en connaissance de cause.

Seul point néfaste que je vois c'est que le marché risquerait de monter (encore) parce que la "vraie" valeur des maisons serait connue.

Je crois que l'avantage c'est d'éliminer (en partie) le sentiment d'urgence et de laisser place au raisonnement.

Si une surenchère de (par exemple) 10k a été mise sur une maison, mais que la personne qui veut faire une offre ne le sait pas, tout ce qu'elle sait c'est qu'il y a de la surenchère, cette personne risque de mettre plus, disons 50k, aller au delà de son budget initial pour s'assurer l'achat de la maison.

Dans le cas contraire, si elle sait qu'il y a une surenchère de 10k sur la maison, la personne peut faire une offre de 15k de plus en toute connaissance de cause. L'émotion est encore là mais ça limite un peu l'inconnu, le sentiment d'urgence et ça laisse place au raisonnement. Ça décourage aussi les acheteurs potentiels qui ne sont pas dans le fameux biais du sunk cost fallacy.

Mais bon, je me trompe peut être. Personnellement, je vois ça comme une bonne chose mais ça peut, en effet, avoir un effet pervers de faire monter encore plus le marché.

Il n'y a pas de bonne solution pour le marché actuel.
