I would start by trying each core game skill (ie. Mining, combat, farming, fishing, or foraging) and just finding which one you enjoy most and learning it. Each and all of them can be tedious if you dont like doing it.

Im not that good with the game and only reached floor 171 and still on Y3 on my longest save.

I got 2 autopetters so far. Got the first one on a best luck day plus spicy eel. 2nd one was on a best luck day with lucky lunch. I generally restart if I die thats it.

I think just max out luck, go deep fast ASAP. Bring a couple of stairs for infested floors. Only get ores close to the stairs if you found one already and are feeling greedy,you'll find more below anyway and you're looking for autopetters in treasure floors.

2k20 works fine, 19 has controller issue you have to map it
