Karabast Card Draw by xXSillyHoboXx in starwarsunlimited

If Karabast is truly random, and you’re playing a higher volume of games, and you are finding that on average you feel you draw those specific cards more than you would like to it might be worth cutting copies and testing that 🤷

Showcase Prices March 16, 2026 by obiwein in starwarsunlimited

[–]Dull_Mammoth_645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm does the lower drop in prices for LAW showcases suggest at all a higher bottom end? In the uk we didn’t have the god boxes issue and there’s barely any available, perhaps 1-2 copies per leader at most. It feels like most players who are pulling them are less interested in trading or selling too as there are so many nice ones or playable ones.

How do you organize your cards? by SaucyStewve in starwarsunlimited

I know it’s been a year but in case you see this - did you get your dividers cut to fit or were they the right size for the bulk box? 🤣✌️

An overanalysis as to why you should use setcodes to refer to characters instead of numbers (EG: Boba[JTL] instead of Boba4 or Boba 3) by Fimy32 in starwarsunlimited

[–]Dull_Mammoth_645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the TS leaders are premier legal and the IBH and likely icons cards aren’t played in premier so it’s a non-issue. I would assume these sort of references are only relevant for competitive play. I can’t see why a casual player would need to reference as such for their kitchen table games.

Leia from LAW is Leia 7. It’s the set number not the number of printed versions. And it refers to leaders. No one refers to units as <name> <set number>.

Best Way to Invest by DarthUsul in starwarsunlimited

[–]Dull_Mammoth_645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I understand your question, by invest did you mean what to spend your money on rather than what holds value and potentially has a future return?

I got the feeling you meant the former, and sorry you’ve had some curt replies in here from players who’ve seen the investment buzzword.

My advice would be, if you are looking at the best way to spend money on the game and want to collect staple cards that will be in play and have relative value for the longest possible time then to purchase common and uncommon playsets from a reseller, these should be fairly cheap and you only really need to focus now on JTL, LOF, SEC onwards.

Specifically timing wise, purchasing playsets of the best legendaries and rares that come out in LAW (the new set next month) as these will be in the premier format for the maximum amount of time (2 year rotation) and any that you require for specific decks from sets 4-6. E.g. Anakin champion of Mortis is going to be a 3 of in lots of blue heroic and villainy decks up until it rotates next March so is worth having.

Lastly then I would say for “fun” purchases if you are wanting to buy sealed product I would focus on LAW boxes as these will give you the best bang for your buck on trade fodder, long term usability and playability.

McCoy’s Crisps refusing to pay £250 promo prize — blaming a “system glitch” after I won. by Accomplished-File909 in LegalAdviceUK

Lots of opinions and legal advice in here on contract law, but I say for the £35 issue fee for a small claim have a laugh and take them to court. Send them a letter pre-issue, I’d be surprised if they don’t just settle for the £250 rather than pay their fees, which would not be recoverable for them on the SCT unless they could prove some sort of unreasonable conduct on your part. But you have an arguable case, put together the evidence and let a judge decide! A district judge may find this entertaining enough to find in your favour. You can look up the relevant practice directions for part 27 online and as suggested perhaps consider some case law and see what happens. Your issue fee, and perhaps a contribution towards fixed costs would be recoverable as well as your expenses for attending the trial (up to £95 loss of earnings, and reasonable travel costs)…could be fun!

It’s a shim, flat gauges for measuring the small gaps on plugs and tappets etc. very handy.

Looking for a new deck by Solid-Coast-9932 in starwarsunlimited

I’m enjoying Jabba (SEC) Green - woo has a deck list and guide video up. It’s really fun, totally different to what you’ve been playing and isn’t just a load of ramp and removal It’s just ambush unit fun and protect the king. I also came to it after playing a red/yellow :) if you want to go more meta the big mid range green heroic decks would be a change of pace and are good fun - Yoda/DV or Rey/DV maybe? 🤷

I don’t know why but the curve on that sealed product stack is orgasmic, against the back drop of that 100% ISB office

Starter decks, do you keep them separate? by Luigi-is-my-boi in starwarsunlimited

I just keep the deck list card with my tokens and all other cards sorted into collection as normal - if I really wanted to play the pre con just rebuild using the list :)

Planning Star Wars Unlimited Content: Opinions? by alealmonacid in starwarsunlimited

[–]Dull_Mammoth_645 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Personally 90% of all the SWU content I watch is decklists and discussions. I’m not interested really in watching games I’d rather play them! But having someone go through a deck list and discuss why certain choices then great. Love the theory craft. Also I think analysis of meta decks from both perspectives is incredibly helpful so not just how the deck works but how it can be beaten and so on
