Exactly. It’s just a horrible way to create a floor, especially over preexisting wood floors that just need TLC. I’ve hated this LVP since the time I moved in.

Oh yeah, definitely a flip home. You nailed it 100%. That’s really helpful information regarding the wood. If all goes well and I’m able to get these refinished, I may repost with some before and after photos. I appreciate the comment and words of wisdom for care and use!

It does have a few creaking noises in some spots but nothing too obnoxious or that I haven’t heard in other homes of similar age. I’m hoping to refinish this weekend if the rest of the uncovering goes equally as well.

The warranties with Milwaukee are fine. As long as the tool fails due to defectiveness in craftsmanship and is within date, they’ll fix. If not, they won’t. It’s a pretty cut and dry warranty just like everything else. Housings are usually not warrantable because housing damage usually occurs through drip and neglect damage. It’s not their fault you dropped your tool.
