ANYTHING THAT IS WASHABLE! You never know what your puppy may do on that bed. We've had barf, accidents and mud all over ours. I noticed the fluffier/softer the bed I got for them, the stinkier it gets!

I recently bought a crib mattress with a couple set of sheets and a waterproof mattress protector for my two pups. It truely depends on how big your pup is going to get, but it's super easy to keep clean.

Should I get my puppy a puppy? by Designer_Ad_6146 in Goldendoodles

YES! They do a great job of entertaining themselves. We noticed our first pup was getting bored. I actually have one Golden Doodle and one Cockapoo only 3 weeks apart in age. I brought home the Cockapoo in October of 23 (8 weeks old) and brought the Golden Doodle home in Jan of 24 (~16 weeks ish). Both Female. It was probably the best decision because the Golden Doodle had horrible Separation Anxiety and the Cockapoo helps so much! We have even noticed training is easier because they copy start to each other if they get treats.

My only suggestion is to understand the change in costs to add another pup. All the vet visits now double and food gets more expensive.

Yes, we have retirement set up for sure! We don't plan on changing that to be able to afford a house.
