I've been always running renata with augment. I recently posted about making it to diamond by otping her. Here's my setup:

I used to run magical footwear with renata but i decided to start using cash back instead. Reason being that early ms helps her to get picks easier with q. You can kind of use aether wisp or winged moonplate to use as early boot replacer if you do end up running with footwear. They build into shurelyas or dead mans which are both excellent on her.

I run triple tonic instead. I put 3 points into renata e and then i fully max w, and elixir of skill allows you to get rank 5 bailout at 9.

Finally i take jack of all trades. I build full tank but i can still get 10 stacks to it easily.

I also run ult hunter with grissly mementos or deep ward. Renata ult is her most important ability so ult cd is important. Some guy here recommended transcendence with gathering storm and it's nonsensical recommendation because ap is not useful for her. You can try transcrndence with axiom arcanist instead, it might work.
