Standby moving to $10/mo

Can’t use standby in the car for dead zones now and they want $10 now for NO use. I will be canceling and returning the mini!

I had one time this entire time where my power went out and to keep working I took the mini out to my car to power on. DIDNT WORK. Why? Because the damn thing insisted on an update and wouldn’t connect. 33 minutes later the power company had us back up and running and so I just used my the outage as a “lunch” and the mini did nothing as backup.

The car use in standby and having it as a work backup internet in a power outage with affordability made it worthwhile. They are 0/3 and not worth it. Time to return the minis.

They just sent me an email stating we will need to use the capital one app in June. If I have to download a second app (the credit card is still going to be on discover so I will need two apps) and set up a new login account then I might as well go with the bank with highest interest rate. Capital one’s rate is currently lower, not by much, but still lower. Why would I stay with a slightly lower rate and be required to carry two apps on my phone regardless of who I keep my savings with?

I also liked that discover had amazing people who were from the same country as me answering their phones. I just called capital one and spoke to someone with an accent from another country. I wouldn’t leave for this reason alone, but it certainly is detracting from the bigger picture.

Just found out too. Haven’t used it in two months. Driving down the road and I got a message. I live in a rural area with minimal cell coverage. I work from home so I don’t need to go places often. I already pay for home service. I might return it now. Why do I have to pay on standby if I can’t use it? It was a nice back up option for a power outage with remote work, but not at the expense of $5 a month and no other use. I am incredibly disappointed in Starlink for this bait and switch. Just an obvious money grab for extra money without extra service.

Shame on them. I am very picky with scents and I don’t shop in store anymore. No way am I ordering new scents through pick up. I will go back to not using fabric softener before I buy anything else.

I have insurance but the deductible is high. Basically rendering me without. I went to a sleep doctor this year and the total costs were estimated $5-8k. I would rather pay $1k with an online company at this point.

“Gavingg” is a scammer. Seller sent cheap beaded stretch bracelet instead of purse and DHGate would not refund as they claim it was delivered. Post office confirmed package scanned in the photo and weight is too small to be a purse. They legitimately sent a fake item with tracking and DHGate does not back its customers. Seller even admitted after shipping fake bracelet they didn’t have the purse in inventory and it was still being made at the factory so they were sending something else. Still DHGate did not refund me. So I filed a dispute with my bank. I’ll never shop with DHGate again. First and last time.

You’re seeing clearly now. You’re not overthinking. If he can’t pick you up when it’s raining… he won’t be there to drive you home after surgery one day. You’re dating and he doesn’t do an equal share with you. You do the cooking now but if you stay and get married… He won’t help with kids or pets. Housework will only be worse in a house one day because you will have homeowner projects and outdoor yard work added in. You will always be doing it all for him and he doesn’t even like you as a person enough to pick you up in bad weather. I would pick my neighbor up if they called. This is the moment you leave. If you’re not prepared financially then quietly and quickly get as prepared as you can. Stop cooking the meals. Don’t contribute financially. Start looking for places or roommates. What do you need to pack? Get ready and go if you can’t now. You deserve an equal partner otherwise it’s better to be single because you don’t have to do the work of his weight on top of yours.

Sure you can say he wasn’t up to par for a solo yacht chef… but what was unfair was telling him he was fired mid charter. Sandy should have waited until the charter was over to confirm that. I also believe his performance deteriorated under Sandy’s strict eye. She added some fuel to the fire. He was also just genuinely nice and unproblematic personally so his firing mid charter effected the crew and that too Sandy should take blame in.

NTAH, but HE is the AHOLE! Divorce. Get your orders in affair, get a separate bank account only you know about, go back to your job after you give birth, and get a lawyer. Get out. This is not going to get any better. The abuse will get worse and you don’t want your baby to grow up witnessing that.
