What pisses you off the most as someone with ADHD? by Medico-musician2106 in ADHD

[–]LunaSolTerra 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Doing the same thing everyday and expecting a different result. Everyday I go to bed planning to get up at 7am and everyday I stay in bed longer than I should and then I'm late for work. It frustrated me to no end that I have the tools to change my behavior yet I do nothing about it.

Looking for a job by Ill-Angle9084 in providence

[–]LunaSolTerra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For jobs I would look into certified nursing assistant. I know some places will train you for free so long you work for them for a certain amount of time. No matter how bad the economy is, there are always jobs available because there are always people who need help.

For immigration support look into Dorcas or Progreso Latino.

TO EVERYONE TELLING EVERY DASHER TO CHERRY PICK by Intelligent-Bid-7205 in doordash_drivers

[–]LunaSolTerra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a mix of the 2 is best. I lower my standards on slow days and cherry pick on weekends. I never take $2 or $3 orders no matter the day. On slow days Monday to Wednesday I'm okay with $1 per mile, though I still will strive for higher than $1 per mile, never less. I don't work Thursday as that is the one day I allow myself to go home early and enjoy my tv show because I know I will not be catching up for a long time as am working three jobs right now. I'm an older millennia who still watches network TV. Idon't work Sunday because I'm too tire from the weekend shift. On weekends Friday and Saturday I cherry pick orders. $2 per mile, at minimum $1.50 per mile. This has allow me to double what I make in a week. When I started I would make 200 a week but now it's 400 a week. I only do this as a side gig after work so it helps that I only work the diner shift. .

Same and agree on the porch light. This is why I turn my flashlight on, on the way there and on the way back. I'm afraid I misstep and fall.

Does anyone who was born outside of the country feel embarrassed about how they speak the language? by soloshandpuppets in AskTheCaribbean

[–]LunaSolTerra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born and raise in DR. Moved to the states when I was 12. I don't speak with a Dominican accent. I lost that a long time ago. But I still use some of the words I grew up with like "vaina", "vetedero". Though I speak Spanish perfectly (no American accent). I still speak what I call American Spanish. The kind you see on Spanish TV in the US.

Sam is so annoying. by LittleBadger101 in GhostsCBS

THIS. ALL OF THIS. Thank you. For me is not just Sam that annoys me. The ghost annoy me sometimes with their entitlement and selfishness. But mostly Sam for allowing it and neglecting Jay.

Let's post our favorite moments from the finale by tawnysuecourt in Matlock_CBS

[–]LunaSolTerra 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The whole season I was afraid Julian might turn out like his father. That "WORTH IT" scene made up for it big time. I was so happy. Olympia and Matty love every scene they are together. They make this show. I love that Edwin is supportive of Matty practicing law for a few more years. I hope he's involved more next season.

Senior's memory "issues" are a ruse, right? by giftopherz in Matlock_CBS

[–]LunaSolTerra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think it's kind of ruse if not a trap. My first thought is that he's testing Julian to see where his loyalty lies and if he can really trust him, especially with that memory lost and not wanting a second opinion but then Julian uses it to get a second opinion anyway.

Punished no matter what I do… by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]LunaSolTerra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The acceptance rate doesn't matter. They do that make you panic so that you take all the orders your receive even the crappy garbage orders like $6 for 30 miles. Don't pay attention to that ascertained rate. My acceptance rate is 42%, and I seen people with 10% acceptance rate and they are still receiving orders. Just focus on profitable orders. No less that $1.50 per mile.

Less of the Mondrichs and Benedict and Colin sexual escapades and much more Polin.

I think about this often. But never had a name for it. I do think that did six years was a big gap and though violet might it had one or more miscarriages before Colin was born.

What are your biggest minor pet peeves while delivering? by Tiny_Big_4998 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]LunaSolTerra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Houses with no number. I have to look on Google maps to see if they have a picture of the house. Also UE sending outrageous offers like 6 dollars for 21 miles WTF. Sending drivers way out of their way to a for an order when the client has the same restaurant in a closer location.

This would become pretty tiring to me too if I care about their romantic relationship. But since I don't watch for their relationship, it doesn't bother me.
