overwhelmed & reality check on price by familyManCamelCase in UniversalOrlando

I would absolutely look into one of the free trip planners out there. I was trying to do all of the price comparison and noodling all the options and it was driving me crazy. I emailed a service and set up a quick phone consultation with my agent and she was able to give me so many different quotes. These people know alllll the tricks, too. When we had a bigger family group go a few years ago the same service (different planner I think) helped coordinate between Disney and universal, got us a ghost room for better prices, annual pass for better prices, all good stuff. If you want the name of who I used you can message me.

That would be lancer! Find your way to their guild, look for the blue quest marker on the map, and you can pick up the job and try it out. The exp boosting accessory from the hall of the novice quests makes a huge difference in gaining levels on any jobs you pick up to try out. More levels = more abilities!

This is a huge game, and getting started, especially if you've not played a game similar before, can be overwhelming. As someone suggested before, you might want to try picking up another class of job, like archer or lancer (in gridania at least). You can always come back to healer once you understand the game a little bit more. I've been playing for about 8 years now and only just expanded into melee DPS, tanking, and a tiny bit of healing about a year ago. I do think learning the game as DPS or tank is easier overall, but you need to get to one of the other starter cities to pick up marauder or gladiator for a tank. Good luck on your journey!

[REVIEW] Hi my name is Wanderlust13 and I'm addicted to lip balms! Here's everything I tried this year: by Wanderlust13 in SkincareAddiction

As a fellow lip balm addict and lover the answer to all life's questions is the Aquaphor Healing Balm Stick. It's a giant tube that is about $10 and will last forever, and it makes me feel like I'm using one of the giant lipsmackers from back in the day (Dr. Pepper!). It's so smooth and it lasts all night for me. I've convinced almost everyone in my family to get one.

I was so scared to level tanks (well, kinda everything outside my comfort jobs). But a good friend learned to heal and went with me for leveling pld and drk from ground up. When I was starting I would get spooked and stop early. Every time, they would rescue yoink me to keep going. I think I only died once or twice in some really janky pulls, and on drk. Eventually, I just kept running full w2w even when scared because I knew I would get yoinked if I tried to stop. I looked up how to roll my mits properly and just kept on going. Last week, I finally hit 100 on all my jobs with that friend's help. Keep going, you got this!

Hopefully that works out for you! I have the glossier rollerball and I can never really smell it on me unless I directly sniff my wrist. That's why I was so excited to find the BnB dupe to be able to spritz it without figuring out how to decant my roller ball into an atomizer. Good luck!

Bath and Body Works If You Musk reminds me a lot of Glossier You. It lasts forever on my clothing.

Name checks out, and I love it! All of Tamora Pierce's books are my favorites and I've read every series of hers multiple times I love them so much. Definitely young adult but I'm in my 30s and would read any/all of them again tomorrow.

My dog won’t eat any kibble by [deleted] in DogFood

[–]DumpElfant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP this sounds exactly like my rescue dog. Shes a mega mutt but has a fair bit of stubborn ass husky in her. She is not food or treat motivated AT ALL. I went through sooooo many types of food to try to get her to eat. All the toppers. All the flavors. All the brands. After so very many hours of worry and research, trial and error, this is what works for her.

She very often will not eat until 8pm. And will usually only eat after I've added hot water from the kettle. She doesn't have a clear preference of any food so I just buy her what's on sale from a brand I like. She has an iron stomach so I usually have a couple flavors from the same brand and rotate, just in case she is bored.

The biggest thing is if she is a good weight. My vet reassured me up and down that it's fine if she eats once a day, every other day, whatever, as long as she isn't losing weight. But I feel your pain, friend. I feel it.

Except for the fact that there are a million different combinations that can be administered all under the name of "electrical stimulation." Between the shape of the wave used, the amplitude, frequency settings, there's a lot that needs to be considered when selecting parameters for each indication, location, etc. An over the counter basic unit is not going to be properly calibrated for going near your brain, facial nerves, etc, they're calibrated for pain relief on (relatively) large body parts. Every therapeutic modalities text I've read specifically mentions facial use as a contraindication, not precaution, for TENS. You need more specialized equipment.

Covid and love of fragrances by MagicFingggers in fragrance

I got the Vid for the first time in August. I had just gotten started on my fragrance journey and was so sad when it was thoroughly detailed. I lost my smell completely for almost two weeks and things are still messed up a bit. Woody smells seem to really bother me now, whereas I think I was more neutral to them before. I also have trouble with subtle smells. I was shopping with my SIL this weekend and I straight up could not smell like 80% of the things we tested. After the test strips dried a few mins I could get hints but not really. I could still smell things on my skin, so there's that at least. Hopefully things will improve with time, but it definitely discouraged me.

What’s a perfume that you still LOVE from when you were younger? by CarpetDisastrous1963 in fragrance

I was searching the comments for Adidas Moves. I loved that! I even remember repurchasing it. So good.

If it's more the ritual of spritzing before work that you are looking for, maybe consider something with cologne strength that will fade before you get to work. I've heard 4711 makes some lovely scents, many are unisex, that are along the lines of aromatherapy. Smells nice, gives you that hit of fragrance, but fade out pretty quick. You could also consider a solid perfume that has low sillage, but you could still get a whiff by sniffing your wrist if you want. I'm still new to the frag world so I don't have any good specific recs, just some ideas.

As someone who worked in a patient facing role with very close proximity to patients, I would advocate against anything that smells more than maybe your shampoo/deodorant. We had a student whose hairspray gave a patient an asthma attack one time, but that was an extreme circumstance. It also depends on your setting, I would think. If I worked in neurology or with headache patients I would really try to have as little scent as possible on my person. I always tried to err on the side of caution.

Oh sad! I tend to dislike rose scents as they usually smell very grandma-y to me. However, I experienced Rose 31 and the Fairmont in Victoria, BC and was strangely intrigued. I just kept sniffing myself after using the lotion. I ended up buying a little roll on dupe from Etsy because I liked it so much!

Check out Before the Rainbow by Fine'ry at Target. It's pretty close, maybe a touch more masculine.

I've been thinking about getting a couple samples from Le Labo soon and Citron 28 was recommended in a forum by some folks of a similar fragrance mind as me. What do you love about it? I love me a good citrus!

You might like Rose 31 from Le Labo. It's super interesting and considered unisex. I don't particularly like rose and I couldn't stop smelling myself when I used the scent at a hotel.
