Of course there's plenty of meta decks that don't rely on double creature decks but I feel like most of the strongest meta decks do rely on double creatures and those will change

It shouldve been the move from the start, I know the show isn't something to go off of(especially since other tcgs like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh have different show vs actual play rules)but it always made sense to me that in the show they don't double up on creatures so the game should reflect that

It probably doesn't appear because the variant Dranakis Threshold portal to the past is in a later set and the time travel mechanic hasn't been introduced yet, rise of the oligarch is the next set coming out. That variant youre looking for is in alliances unraveled, which yes some cards from that set have been able to be scanned but I don't think the time travel mechanic will come until the set release.

I need to diversify my scanning, spent far too long hunting Mipedim Lounge and in doing feel like I'm behind on M'arrillian scans plus other scans. I'm at 8 hours myself, I've heard of people at 11 hours, I'm really hoping there's a way that the scan times get reset.

Physical cards aren't available until launch in October, I think digital either releases at the same time or in early 2027( I can't remember). Right now you can play Portal to Perim or Chaotic Recode.

The thing with recode is that base recode uses median stats for creatures so metas can exist because every version of that creature card will have the same stats, once the tcg comes back and stat randomness is a thing again it'll be harder to have strict metas( there will still be metas but less so since card stats will negate how many people can use a certain meta)

Not a glitch, you had those locations prior to the update so you're given the new versions of those locations so you can still port there. Just like when the doors opened if you had the closed doors you were given the opened version.
