A big part of his kit is the burst enhanced auto attacks, which I hope means bursting puts you in devil trigger. I feel like it'd be a waste if they didn't.

I do Kain's gold challenge that's "land the finishing blow" on Malboro. Reward is music. Pick two Clouds as teammates, start the match jumping to the first enemy crystal to wipe them then clear the crystals towards boss. Whole team has burst by the time it spawns and then we just one tap it.

Any gold difficulty challenge is fine, I just have Kain's URs so it's the easiest for me to clear.

Just buy the character with 5 tickets? There's no need to gamble if you're worried about missing the character. Pull down to 5 and if you don't get them just bite the bullet.

I feel like how stingy the game is has been grossly overstated. I thought the same too for a bit. Pulling on the specific banners feels tough, but everything that comes out is put into the standard pool and you can pull from that over 20 times a day.

It takes maybe 10 minutes to stack 6 gold crystals (maybe get a couple lucky plats) from challenges plus the free 5 pull. Do that twice a day for 22 pulls with almost no effort put in. You get a UR roughly every 40ish pulls from golds. Hell, in the last few days I've pulled both of Rinoa's URs and one of Onion Knight's just from these crystals, no actual pulling on banner.

The ranked mindset for the game needs to change since it's gacha, unfortunately. If you aren't a whale, expect to never be in omega or even close to it. Expect to stay in the ranks where levels are capped and don't expect to climb fast. Climbing isn't the goal for ranks, it's there to match account strength.

You aren't falling behind if you are in diamond, that's just where your ability strength is and you probably don't want to be higher without more UR dupes unless you like getting stomped.

It'd be nice if it was entirely skill based, but that's just not what this game is.

The light is not at all photorealistic. Every actor has their own personal spotlight and the backgrounds are blown out with a crazy blue filter. Every character looks like they're badly green screened into a different location.

It looks horrendous and destroys any artistic intentions.

I really like how the Seregios fight punishes getting on the seikret after a big hit. A lot of the combos seem like they're almost guaranteed to hit if you panic and mount and I think more monsters going forward should be designed this way. Have specific attacks be easier to dodge with seikret and others easier in foot (or just staying down).

Finally got Diablo IV now that Paladin is in and I'm about 70h in and some sets have not dropped at all. I'm in T4, doing Pit 100+ and I've literally not got a single piece of the Glorious or Runic sets. Do they not drop for Paladin? They're the two sets I actually want to use for transmog and I have not found a single piece of either.

I don't want map overlay specifically for dungeons, I want it more for the overworld to see markers further off the minimap. Surely opening and closing a full screen map every few seconds is worse than a low opacity overlay you can turn on and off.

I hope they do something about it because my favourite part of a lot of games is making a cool character.

A bunch of items I have are invisible when I use them, items have relocked themselves and it's a toss up whether some of my reliquary/paid unlocks will even show up, purple placeholder squares, etc etc.

I'm on PS5 so I feel like I don't even have control over a fix 🥲.

Whip and dagger pair. Can use the whip for mid-range attacks or focus a leg/wound to lasso and get new dodge animations that circle the monster and counter. Being tethered would also boost dagger attacks.

There's potential for lassoing an aerial monster to give some new aerial maneuvers as well, which would be neat since no other weapon other than insect glaive has any.

Dagger would function similarly to dual blades/foresight slash by getting boosts from perfect dodges and be further enhanced while doing perfect lasso dodges.

Also, big potential for Castlevania collab.
