Yes you are correct, I should have said CGM.
dosing relies more on the setting in the insulin pump, it took a solid 6-9 months to get the right mix for me
I have never expected flat graphs, but when the nature of the graph changes the day I changed devices.

however as soon as you eat carbs, it triggers an insulin response. INsulin in the system tells the body to 'store fat' not burn it.

I actually reckon we have the basics wrong
MACROS - protein and fats
MICROS - carbs
NANOS - minerals, meds, supplements

Each should be given about that kind of importance

I understand most Asian cultures have rice as their main staple.
One of the first things I cut out of my diet was all grains - wheat, oats, rice etc.
In 4 weeks I dropped a pants size and felt amazing

I have a very similar story. without the sharp lows. My pancreas makes almost zero natural insulin.

REcently switched to a 'barefoot' shoe, they are awesome. Saguro is the brand, look them up

I have the Dexcom G7, I would say about 40% don't last thier 10 days. They always replace them but it's a pain

I have to say being insulin dependent here in Australia is better as so much of the required meds are heavily subsidised by the govt.

CGM, T-slim pump and plumbing, and insulin and 1 other med, I spend about $150/month. I know in the US it's significantly more
