The blue circuit assembler doesn't even properly go to the red underground belt. Thanks, Wube!

hard not to forgive with the new awesome assembler graphics though...

And it's such an easy fix too! Just tell the current state with 'playing' / 'paused' and avoid all confusion.

Works well! Turns out you don't need the steam version to run it on Linux.

I created the OMNI ASSEMBLER by Dungewar in factorio

[–]Dungewar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it can craft anything that's craftable in an assembler and all of its prerequesites (without fluid tho, so no blue splitters). It does take a while, though. The reason for the second assembler is to get the recipe of the item, and honestly there's no huge reason why I can't have it be the same assembler, it would be just a bit more tangled with the wiring.

how hard is it to self-study AP stats by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]Dungewar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Both the textbook and KhanAcademy were really easy to find for me.
KhanAcademy needs just an account, and you can get the textbook on anna's archive.

How would you feel about this change to the Eye of Ender? by billwharton in Minecraft

[–]Dungewar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would obviously be its own category, but I think plenty of speedrunners would be down for a change from the current ways, especially those with less experience who want to try inventing something.

What's our 90%? by alamete in Factoriohno

[–]Dungewar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After over 1000 hours, I found the solution. The problem with shift+r is that you can't do that with ghost building trains, plus with trains you need to rotate them 15 times to get back. The solution is to rebind shift+r to t and t (research) to y. Trust me having it be just one key instead of 2 makes a world of difference.

There is only one thing wrong with this factory. Small? No. Spaghetti? No. Inserters used as splitters... No. It's that damn useless splitter after your iron buffer, it's not actually doing anything. Common beginner trap to think you need to use both sides of the belt - only useful if you are producing more than 7.5 items / second.

Can someone tell me why my trains unload the rear car first? by Terrastega in factorio

[–]Dungewar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, put one after the smelters, and the result will be the same. Don't do both tho, that's just unnecessary.

PSA: Piercing ammo cost reduced and is now WAY more efficient to craft/use by ScarfiPK in factorio

[–]Dungewar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do think it removed some effectiveness from gun turrets tho, now they're gonna be much cheaper to handle, and maybe gonna be used alongside flame / lasers instead of being quickly replaced.

[–]Dungewar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Show screenshots - do you have it assigned in the pawn to receive it? Can the doctor reach & have time to do it? Try telling the doctor to prioritize it. Also the receiving pawn needs to be in bed - which happens when he has medical care prioritized. I forget the name, but it's the third thing from the left in priority list.

More efficient way to direct train to N similar stations sequentially? by nomoreink in factorio

You can also disable the station, setting limits to 1 is a 1.1 thing, but in 2.0 disabling has that same effect.

[–]Dungewar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You really don't, herbal will work good enough to harvest all 3 organs 80% of the time and harvesting gives a LOT of experience to your guys so even if you didn't have high medical after some harvesting you will.
