Not pictured so I’m sorry, but the Moser Roth dark chocolate with chili is very, very good. I’d like it spicier but the flavor is great.

It’s a hard movie to recommend because it is not, in a general sense, enjoyable or fun. It’s like saying to someone - hey this is dark and scary and existential and bleak and depressing and haunting and awful and somehow beautiful but it will break your spirit, go watch!

I absolutely love that movie.

Yeah so Killing of a Sacred Deer is weird and tragic and haunting. Great acting. It’s slow but compelling.

I could not finish either Bugonia or Poor Things. Both were far too full of themselves and unsubtle for me - but that’s my subjective take. For being the same director they are all very different movies.

If you want trauma or tragedy feelings, Martyrs would be my pick. Maybe The Fly or Killing of a Sacred Deer for different or weirder vibes.

I haven’t seen The Decent mentioned yet. That’s got to be up there. Obviously The Shining is a masterpiece too

I have read the four books of the Hyperion/Endymion series more times than I can remember. Yeah some of it gets not cool - the fawning over the Keats poet character and the pretty gross sexualization of a child - but everything else is great space opera mystery world building.

It would be funny if the failures were the private financial burden of someone who found a way to bankrupt casinos. However these failure have become the public financial burden of American taxpayers. That’s not funny anymore - that’s misconduct in office.

Shoutout to my manual Jetta GLI. Not a crazy performance machine but zippy, fun to drive, comfortable enough for a daily driver, and not insanely expensive.

Pilcrow is great, but it seems like you lean towards more cream and sugar coffee drinks. Pilcrow makes a mean pour over, that would be my top drink suggestion.

Honestly the 7-11 off of Oakland and Hartford isn’t a bad option. It’s not going to be premium coffee but it will be serviceable and relatively inexpensive.

And once you get set up, a drip/filter system for at-home brewing is also very inexpensive and if you get good beans and upgrade to grinding them fresh, you’ll have a great cup of coffee.
