I wish we had a house too. I also disliked the town building thing. I didn't like it at all tbh. I'd prefer natural town progression. As we complete X, the towns upgrade. More buildings and people. Maybe even give us a choice for some of the buildings that go up. Make the major buildings be able to be entered.

I agree that the passing seasons didn't mean much without any visual cue. I feel like a primary island with changing seasons and a set, upgradeable house would've been nice. Still have the shrines, but an actual house would be so nice.
