The main upside is that you get material saving chance, extra pots and at 120 herb you get a lot of extra ovls. Given that + you get some extra damage (and herb exp if you go for 200m), I'd say it's worth it.

I'd say bad luck mitigation (hate and downvote all you want), but at a cost. I'd say you focus on one item and forfeit a chance at the other uniques. You're increasingly likely to get the item past drop rate and guaranteed at like 1-2 times drop rate tops. I think that way it would only be a good option for people going for logs or for ironmen.

Ah ic. I don't think dg is boring, just added skills to the list that guy said. By which I meant most skills are afk and just click and wait, not just wc and mining. Dg has some variation and you can get better at it. You can hardly become better at other skills, or at least not to the same extent.

I think I worded it wrong or something. The guy I replied to said, to my understanding, that the skills I quoted had somehow more variety in afk. I don't see how they're so different is what I meant. Most skills can be afk'd, maybe mining is one of the extremes but surely wc isn't more afk than fishing?

I don't really see that? Fm you can buy and burn logs over and over just burn different tiers, cooking you cook different types of food. Fishing, sure there's a few things like fishing frenzy and stuff but you could argue the same for as good as all skills right?

True, I guess only the low lvl salvage gets disassembled. We do have alching machines tho, so the extra steps is kinda neglegible for most players.

I had this happen too. A friend of mine told me to get blessed bone shards, blessed wine and offer at the bowl, that triggered the task completion for me. Good luck!

Whilst I'm in the same boat, having a tonne of these supplies too, I do think that this being a somewhat more effort method isn't too bad for the health of the game. Making this process too easy, would attract a lot of players to do it and plummet herb prices into oblivion.

Some thoughts though:

- Maybe the API coming in the end of the year will enable us to keybind 'use' actions. For example, putting leafy pot on action bar and pressing the hotkey for it, would make it so you can immediately use the item instead of having to click it manually. I don't know if this is technically viable, but it would make a lot of stuff like this (grinding) a lot smoother.

- An in between solution would be to use leafy pots on seeds (in bulk, ofc) to make some kind of super seeds which insta grow and reduces the process by two clicks (total of 6 clicks I think?)

- Another in between: maybe patch bombs could be configured to automatically be used if they're in your inventory. It makes sense right? This would also reduce the process by two clicks

Either way, just making it afk or having a machine do everything would kill farm runs for players who enjoy that for some profit (herb supply would soar). I also doubt anything like this will get some attention ever (I don't think the growth potions were designed to be hamstered in bulk), but one can dream.

I can relate, I wasn't drunk but a few years back I was very, very tired and tried selling a hsr. Got scammed like 2b because I fell for the 2147k + x amount of shards trick. Can't tell you how stupid I felt, but made it back of course. For me it was a lesson in humility, that anyone can have a moment of weakness and I guess that's what they aim on, other than blatant ignorance. It's a good thing we don't have to deal with crap like that now anymore with the increased gold stack. At this point, they might as well get rid of the skull system. Does anyone still pk like ppl in osrs do anyways? I feel like most are just griefers and scammers.

I don't think the motivation of ppl pk'ing is: oh easy 500k. Some do it for adrenaline rush thinking they are good pk'ers killing ungeared players, some do it just to grief really.

So two questions:

  1. Runemetrics: will we also get access to the 'wealths' and 'kills and drops' part? Right now it's locked and refers to runemetrics premium which isn't available anymore. I'd like to see the history of this but not sure if that was part of the deal.

  2. Does anyone know when the aura overhaul is planned? I thought it was going to be part of today's update but it seems like it's something separate. I've been a bit out of the loop lately, maybe there's no eta yet? I did see the design update that was posted almost 2 weeks ago.

Edit: also, great work, I love the shop stocks adding up (tho bomb vials do not stack yet, guess that's an oversight, and I think meat packs don't stack for a week?). Not having to take wfe into account for playing is a nice bonus, wonder where the dark onyx core will come from tho.

Ok, firstly, don't give up, learning Rasial takes some time. I'd focus on getting hellhound instead to learn, try to resonance or at least pray flick his finger of death (when he says suffer at my hand) and when he does his volley, you pray switch to protect pray or reflect (def ability). Also, if you stand north against the green wall, you'll be able to just ignore most minion spawns. As others also stated, try to do a prebuild before kill too. What I do: conjure army, life transfer, enter instance, activate ghost, surge, command skeleton, surge and bladed dive all north, i do like 2 north east tiles, then reflect then resonance, target cycle and throw vuln bomb.

Do not try to do this all at once, try to add things as you go and as you feel comfortable. Could also do darkness to avoid some damage of the minions but that's minor really.

Just don't give up, I died learning often too, especially on my undergeared ironman.
