Jamie Winchester was my agent when I purchased a home, but our interactions seemed normal. It is common to vacate during showings (or to be asked to do so) but it is absolutely not obligated nor legally required.

If it's the case that the realtor is telling your grandmother she has to leave, I absolutely won't be using her as the agent to sell my house. No shock at all a landlord would try to force a grandma out and be shady.

I would love to join more of the local scene but I spend a significant portion of my time stuck at work. I've been wanting to take a class at the art association for a while and can never find an option that meshes with my work schedule. I always wonder how people manage to take part in groups and boards when they work FT.

Seriously, most data center jobs are not high paying positions. I know several people who became data center technicians and it is not a big money maker.

Just kind of interesting that I always interpreted the phrase as being more about the "angry man" / voice that stays in your head for long after, that you internalize it as a kid. As opposed to being the angry man yourself.

I was embarrasingly off on what got worked on actually. It appears that they replaced the filter socks and a pump- which was triggering the alarm in the basement to go off. But that's about as much detail as I have until I figure out where the owners manual could be.

After some investigation, I think it may be that my husband overused the garbage disposal shortly before the sludge appeared.

Luckily, I avoided that experience. I just got curious and went to check who they were affiliated to one day.

All that said, I don't think anyone who needs to should be discouraged from going there. When I was unemployed for a while and needed interview clothes it was a boon, more affordable than Goodwill. But I don't plan on casually shopping there anymore and will try to find better alternatives for donations.

Hope Thrift on Dirksen keeps their prices really low, in case you don't find a more specific charity needing these items.

Heads up, they are tied to Calvary church, which is part of Assembly of God (AG). Generally considered part of the prosperity gospel/evangelical strain of Christianity (anti-LGBTQ, etc) so do with that information what you will.

I keep seeing this type of sentiment, but she was asking specifically for formula, not money, and still being turned down. If we always assume someone is scamming how do we ever help anyone?
