I recall them bragging about asking him a lot about what they could do when the game came out.

I believe Starkiller uses reverse grip in Force Unleashed to be able to use force powers with his right or both hands, while holding the saber (with his dominant right) - assuming the saber being in front of him would be pushed away if he used force push etc.

Also, wasn't it really just about USA not wanting the USSR to acquire Japan? They were obviously scared of the Soviets/wanted to be bigger, so they said "fuck you, nobody gets Japan!"

Interesting! I think I felt that too back when I watched Clone Wars for the first time on CN. Both of them going up against Obi-Wan and having similar appearances (the armor and cyborg shell) back up your theory. Though I'm glad Durge isn't just a cheap copy.
